@gb112400 is that the question with the critics and the art? I think I chose something like they could not hesitate to ignore the critics or something? I don’t remember the fuss sentence as a choice but people were saying that’s the answer. Do you remember a choice with hesitate in the sentence for that question?
@WK6897 , yes it is the one with critics and art , do u know anything about the math question ?
@gb112400 that question was HORRIBLE and i wish there’d been an x-17 option
i put x-16 but i guess we’ll have to wait until the 21st to see what the right answer was (fingers crossed that they entirely omit it like they do sometimes)
Some people are saying x-3 !
I messed up that math question. I said x-3 because I didn’t look at the graph closely
gb112400 wait so for that improving paragraphs question do you remember one of the choices being something like they were hesitant to ignore the critics or something?
It was x-18. End of discussion. I am tired of explaining this time and time again.
You had a slope of 1, which means a line of 45 degrees from the +ve side of x axis. The bottom of the graph was y=0. So in y=x-16, where y=0, x would be 16. Thus you have to make a gradient line of 1 from 16 and see if it best represents the graph.
Similarly, you need to make such lines from x=18(y=x-18) and x=20(y=x-20). x-16 had all points below it, x-20 had all points above, x-18 was firmly in the middle.
Thanks @MarcoReus , @WK6897 i remember that choice but i didnt choose it
For the writing question… @WK6897 @MarcoReus
Was it to ingore the critics, or to see the fuss?
I am pretty sure it was x-18, i dont know how i got it but all the other options were wide and not logical
@Suly99 I put the answer that was something like “they could not hesitate to ignore the critics”
I think is is " to see the fuss " to take a neutral approach to the proplem
Problem *
i actually though it was informal for college board to put ‘to see the fuss’ so i didnt choose it lol. It’s like when we eliminate being
its to see the fuss cause they wanted to see whether what the critics were saying was true. The critical remarks forced the public to see what is really going on.
^^ I remember that one; the answer was to see the fuss!
