*Official May 6th SAT Discussion*

did anyone get 51 for the musical note question on the math section? i seriously did that in like the last 3 seconds, cuz my stupid proctor never warned us for the last five minutes of each section

Hey do you guys remember the one about the two azn poets? She didnt want retalition was one of them right? Oh and about comparing the second poet, she was compared to the writer/painter or watever that got harsh criticism and became despondent right? (I dont remember specifically… but it seemed fairly obvious to me. I believe it was either D or E… probably D, i dont actually remember the comparison speccifically)

yeah it was 51, that was the only number divisible by 3

Anyone think that the “Diary” passage CR#1 was experimental?

Ay dios mios! it’s been covered a million times…with the freaking diary…

yep! I got 51 and I am 100% positive that it’s right.

On the math section, i forgot which one, there was a question on how may #s are possible with the digits in ascending order from 4000 to 5000? Did you guys get 9? I like wrote all the intergers down and I think I got 9.

Also, for the math MC, on the last math section i think, there was this question about the area of the square or rectangle with the triangle sides 3 and 6? (I honestly don’t remember), which was the answer? Is it 25? (I totally guessed that one b/c the other choices were not a perfect square of a number. I dunno if I got that one right.

I probably got 3 MAX wrong on the Math. It was probably the easiest for me.

As for the CR, I totally Fked up the last one (about the cheetah). The diary one or notebook one was easy, i thought (maybe becasue I was thinking clearly then. lol.)

Writing = super easy

4000-5000 was 10 someone posted them all and yes 25…just did pythagorean theorem to find the side of the triangle

i got 13 (b or c) for the area of the square when given the two numbers of the sides of the triangle. did anyone else get it?

i had one the py theorem didn’t look like it was working for … it was like a 3 & 2 and find the greatest length of the otherside… inever really got a final answer ( just bubbled )… and then i started acting stupid on one adding two equations together, only to find out they needed to be squared and a variable needed to be found. (stupid algebra 1 !)

what numbers were 3 and 4…3 sq. and 4 sq is 25 rad 25 is 5…then 5 *5 for area gets 25

it was rounded…the actual number was 12.96 or something

Anyone remember that SC question with lackadaisical and anomalous in it? I don’t remember choice D.

Im pretty sure the area of the Square was 13, as the length of the triangle sides were 3 and 2 the hypothenus was sqrt(13)

I got 13 as well

the answer to that was 13

did anyone get a sentence comp with the answer “pundit”… the other choices didnt make any sense

yeah, couldn’t remember what it meant… don’t remember what i bubbled. They really pulled out the old vault: superdolpolistically ( i thought about superflous)

the answer was ascetic… not pundit

what is the worst score you can get in math with 10 wrong?

What about the median question near the end of that one math section with the table? Was that 15?

Ooh…the median question…that one was weird. I put down 113
