How bout the scientific discovery that disputed all current evidence..

^^^yea i got (bear one)

Ptang, I chose startling... revolutionary...

I'm positive I got startling/revolutionary as well

diffident was not the correct answer (100% sure--sorry m8).

startling/revolutionary is correct
anomaly was a correct one
anitpode was correct (that was the hardest on the test imo)
one of the verbal questions had dispel in the answer (number 2 of the same section as antipode)

yes startling/revolutionary is correct.

excellent, I guessed antipode

i also got obscure
any1 else get it

no I wrote conviction as the asnwer ... not diffidence (that means self confidence)

I second obscure

And I also chose conviction

I got conviction too.

Oh my god!!
This SAT was full of greek words!!
I would have aced it!!!

I got conviction

obscure didn't make sense, it was asking about how the judges were able to distinguish the chilly, discriminating makes more sense.

Google's "define" function defines discriminating as:

showing or indicating careful judgment and discernment especially in matters of taste; "the discriminating eye of the connoisseur"

Yeah, now I remember. It was conviction.

Also, there was a question with one of the choices being Vitality. I put instinct but that is wrong. It had to be a synonym of determination but none of them matched, atleast then. Now that I checked the dictionary, the answer WAS Vitality. Damn, it was one of the secondary meanings. Hope that was an experimental section.

it was saying the judges were criticizing on subtle things that most people would not be able to point out. which is why obscure fits.

I also chose vitality

I also got conviction and discriminating for those two q's, seemed to make the most sense. Wasn't the chili question asking about the judges? If that's the case then I think that discriminating would make sense.

Which question was the answer conviction for?

yes, vitality is correct

another answer was filial
