<p>@NorthernKev Oh god no! I’m practically the average applicant, if not slightly below. My application could’ve been much more appealing but I was totally screwed over my junior year as far as scheduling so I wasn’t able to take as many challenging classes (AP etc.). I see a bunch of other people who’ve already taken their AP exams whereas I won’t have mine until this spring when it won’t increase my odds anymore. Also, getting a 31 on the ACT twice in a row was pretty disheartening (great score, I know, but for the colleges I want to get into it’s practically average).</p>
<p>In the end, if I don’t get in, I really only have myself to blame for not trying harder. I don’t really believe in the “if you don’t get accepted, it was meant to be” stuff because I could’ve done better.</p>
<p>Bleh. Sorry to sound like a whiny pessimist. It just gets tiring hearing people in my school feel insulted that I was disappointed in my 31 ACT when they don’t understand the pressure of getting into a school as honorable as Northwestern when I want it so badly

<p>Villanova, BC, and Northwestern are all coming back today, among a few, so everyone in my school is stressing for different reasons.</p>

<p>Omg I keep receiving emails and I’m like IS IT NU? But it ends up being a DIFFERENT college and I’m like LEAVE ME ALONE FOR TODAY haha. </p>
<p>“We have not specified any final date for the release of the admissions information however we are trying our best to release it as soon as possible. It could be within today or the coming few days. The applicants will be emailed regarding the decisions.”</p>

<p>Oh my goodness, I can remember so distinctly being in y’all’s position just about exactly a year ago, as a former ED applicant and current Wildcat. We even had a college confidential chat room for the days leading up to when we heard decisions would come out. Can’t believe they aren’t out yet they’re really building the pressure for you guys. Anyway just wanted to wish you all good luck!!! For those of you that get accepted, welcome to NU! We can’t wait to have you guys on campus next year! And for those of you who don’t get positive news, just remember that you’ll end up at the school that’s meant for you. Best Wishes, future 'Cats! </p>
