<p>The phone answerer probably did not give date because they were advised against doing so in the days prior. With that said, a top school such as Northwestern would not break it’s promises to all the applicants.</p>
<p>It is one thing to hold back decisions until the day of the deadline, but another to miss the deadline.</p>

<p>@hannayogi Yeah. My friend’s top college was supposed to get back to its applicants today. they emailed her yesterday saying that the deadlines was to be extended. Northwestern would have emailed us if that was the case. </p>
