Did anyone apply to Communications for theatre/do any of you know of whether or not the 100-person cap for the major makes it more difficult to get in?
@oligrayeug1 Hi! I applied to SoC for performance studies. I know theatre is a difficult major to enter because of the cap, you do however have a huge advantage applying ED.
Hi Guys: Just wanted to run it thru experts of this forum. I would like to know, my chances of getting into WCAS ED. My stats are : Weighted GPA 4.2 (of 4.5 High) 2290 SAT- 800 on writing. Two Subject SATs 760s Math2 and Chem. 4APs completed, and 4 are in Senior year load. AP Scholar with Honors. Two leadership roles, with Seven ECs. My concern is I am in Decile II in my Class of 435. Not sure, how it is looked at. My essays are very good and Recs are Very good. Showed interest in the School. Visit and meet Rep. Did not have any interview.
Running a nightmares of this Decile II. (Just slipped in Junior year from Decile I, when I took more APs). School Normally allows 5. I have 4 by end of Junior year. Not sure, how it is viewed. Getting Nervous.
Can any one Chance me.

I heard Northwestern does not really consider the writing section of the SAT, can anyone confirm?

what do you think the acceptance rate will be this year? i know in the article they said there should be a similar rate this year even though there were 3000 applicants, but surely they cant take 36%

@plsnu1234 they’ll take about 1000 kids, maybe 1050 and yes, obviously decisions have already been made. they’re just being inconsiderate f**ks because they want me to study for finals instead of slacking off and getting Bs

@acx820 nope i’m pretty sure that they are still reviewing applications since they received mine just a few days ago. I’m a Questbridge Finalist and didn’t match but they gave me the opportunity to apply ED. They emailed me and said that they’d review the applications (plus mine) and get a decision out as soon as they can
pretty sure it does affect, im applying for theatre major, and I think it makes it tougher, i mean, i imagine it has to cuz of the limited amount of spots available? right?
