oh my god how did I get accepted this is a miracle
Guys I was deferred but I thought northwestern doesn’t defer, can anyone help me understand this? What does my shot look like RD? What should I do?
I’ve been informed that this is wrong!
Accepted to Weinberg, rejected from Bienen. Not sure what I’m going to do. @etsy98 @ZankFrappa @flutyfluty @scyinpiano. I don’t think I can live without music.
@oboesapien7 I am still too scared to check T T if you do music minor only graduate students teach you… but can you try to audition again?
You can still join music clubs and probably classes as well. You might be able to petition in a year, I’m not sure. I’ll check real fast on the music classes.
@TheMagicMarker That’s not the official facebook group… There is an official facebook group that’s been created but I can’t link it here. Just search Northwestern Class of 2020, it’s the one with a brown paw print icon and Josh McKenzie is the admin
I got deferred to @Doglover555 I don’t know if we have any chance
I just don’t know. For a minute I was beyond happy; I saw “congratulations” and for 60 seconds everything was fantastic… but then I read on, and it was quite the fall.
Thank you, though, @scyinpiano and @TheMagicMarker. I appreciate it ;’)
Thanks @ACilantrophy
Wrong Facebook page, guys! Sorry! Here Is the official one!
I got rejected. You know, I really felt like NU was where I should be. But you know what? I’m applying to other awesome schools, and I know that I have the ability to be super successful no matter where I go.
So congratulations to everyone who got accepted today; and to everyone else, remember this isn’t the end of the world. Look ahead, find other awesome schools (if you haven’t already). You’re all awesome!
Lol wait guys can anyone help out the deferred applicants here? Any advice? Thoughts? What does this mean?
what is the percentage of deferred applicants?
I’ve heard very very few like 2-3%
Rejected and feeling miserable
Current NU freshman here, I was deferred as an ED last year, and I thought it was the end of the world because I read that like less than 1% of applicants get deferred then accepted RD. But I ended up getting accepted later in March and it was the happiest day of my life. There’s still hope for all of you deferred applicants!

I’m IN!!!
Sorry to bother but any idea what the chances are for a deferred applicant?
