other people have gotten emails about the specific day/time their results will come out but I think the only email we’ll receive is the one telling us our results are up on the portal

@chipotleeveryday I don’t think it matters at all NU is pretty chill about most things. I highly doubt they care. especially in terms of second semester attendance, grades, and disciplinary action, they really could care less (coming from experience from my brother - NU class of 2019)

Here’s a tip: when you run out of college acceptance/denial videos to watch, watch dorm move-in videos. They’re just as stressful and exciting

Does anyone know how we find out the ED decisions? Is it an email or do we need to login somewhere?

@eflomen You will get an email that says your decision has been posted on your portal, along with your temporary password to your portal. Then you log in to see your result.

Probably a lot. There are a lot more ppl who are applying for the fun of it than you think. Anywhere between 50-100 is my guess, but remember a lot of them are not qualified at all so in terms of competitive applicants, probably around 1-2 per school and there are a lot of schools in washington so…
Decisions came out on a Monday for the last 2 years, so I’m really hoping for today. Crazy to think it’s possible that in the next few hours some of us will know where we’re spending the next 4 years of our lives!

Or think of it like this, there are about 3700 applicants total, about 600 of them are international, that leaves 3100 for 50 states. Divide that by 50 leaves about 60 applicants per state. So I guess my estimate was reasonable after all! Good Luck to you and me! Bellevue might have a few more cats than intended!

I just applied RD. How long does it take usually for NU to send someone their Portal details?
@nikhil99 They only send it to you when your letter has been posted, so on the day when decisions come out.
