If you make an account before they release decisions, you will not get an email notification when they do get released. You have to just login yourself or follow this thread to know when they come out.

I never got an email from NU to create the account on the portal. Did you guys get an email when you submitted your applications?

Don’t understand why people posted URL for portal (or how they got them), if NU is going send it when the decisions are released. Just got confused as how they got it.
Northwestern is pretty vague on what day they will release admission decisions, despite being a top-tier university. They release on the 17th last year so I believe it will be the same here. My guess is 6PM eastern time. Let’s see how close I am 
so universities have this thing called Early Decision, don’t know if you’ve heard of it. On of the decisions you can receive if you apply ED is being deferred. To see your ED decision you need to have a portal…

Skeptical that NU would release decisions today, especially given that UChicago decisions are also coming out today, along with a laundry list of others. Hoping to be proven wrong but it seems unlikely that today would be the day.
I’ve been on a lot of college confidential sites, because I have multiple kids that have applied to multiple colleges. I do have to say that this thread is the least civil one I have ever seen:(

Honestly the Rice ED forum was worse than this. This is mild in comparison.
