***Official Nov 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

Any consensus on the “ostrich egg” with the “being” grammar question? Was it being that was wrong or was it no error? i already know your opinion, emersonballer21

For the radio station improving paragraphs, there was only 1 delete from passage right. The first question only right?

@emersonballer21 yea that’s what I got
And it was “what more” idk if i put that lol

And was the other one “unknowingly”, “incidentally” or “accordingly”. the context was like “The two radio guys decided to play the same music that they heard at the diner on their radio station”. and it said, which of those words should be placed at start of sentence. I put accordingly.

@‌emersonballer21 Yea, within the three choices, accordingly is the best fit
Tbh I really dont care about the SAT anymore
Im gonna erase the October SAT and this SAT from my transcript
And just send in my ACT score to colleges LOL
Unless I do AMAZING on this SAT which I dont think I did

@AwesomGuy‌ yeah im a junior right now tho, so Im just trying to get a 2250 and be done with this test and just focus on school for the rest of the year.

@emersoballer21e yep junior year is the hardest year lol
But dont believe people that say Senior year is easy
First semester for me is a pain, second semester is the easy semester
Then again im taking 6 AP classes HAHAHA

@emersonballer21 sorry i put a accidental e at the end of ur name

@emersonballer21 I remember getting 2 root5, but I’m doing the problem again and am not getting that answer.

If the radius of the smaller is 2, and the radius of the larger is 3, than wouldn’t that make the hypotenuse sqrt(2^2+3^2)=sqrt(13)?

Appreciate if you could clarify.

@AwesomGuy‌ lol im only in three this year- AP PHysics, AP Stat, AP European, and im in honors pre calc. Classes arent too bad. Have all As but physics grade is only at a 91. As long as i get all As this year and get a 2250 SAT, ill be very competitive next year.

@emersonballer21‌ It was the one with the folding cube and you had to say which side was opposite to X. At the time I found it so hard but now that I think about it, it was really easy. I erased and bubbled A or B at the last second but I don’t remember which one (answer A didn’t make any sense so I don’t know why I would have bubbled it)

This question is the difference between getting a 710 and a 750 in math…stupid.

@Dynasty21 No the hypotenuse of the triangle was the radius of the larger circle (3). and one of the sides was 2 so the other side is root5. and you had to multiply it by 2 because thats what the question asked for so 2root5

@LOLBeast1 its weird cuz i struggled with that too. Im really really good at math with numbers but im horrible at like logic math. what was the answer to it?

@‌emersonballer21 Correct me if I’m wrong, but the radii are perpendicular. Wouldn’t the triangle look like this?
<a href=“Screenshot - 7e2e817aea9716c463ac3ec56a259a21 - Gyazo”>http://gyazo.com/7e2e817aea9716c463ac3ec56a259a21

@emersonballer21‌ The answer was B. Yeah I felt that was definitely not a question for question number 2. I felt like it gave people who fold papers frequently an unfair advantage. I can’t remember what I put, but I don’t see why I would have but A.

@Dynasty21 no your picture is wrong. The unknown side and the radius of the smaller circle are perpendicular. I distinctly remember this type of problem has been on many practice tests that ive done

@LOLBeast1‌ well i guess its good news that on that section i got ABCDE for the first 5 so at least i got that one right.

wait wut. i got letter c for the math question with the cube for number 2

@IAmTheGOAT‌ thats what i thought i got too. But i know that i put ABCDE in that order for 1-5 of that section, so i guess i was right

Anyway. That’s the hardest early question i’ve ever seen on the SAT.
