Keep it simple, but effective: try Grammar Workbook SAT Advanced Practice Series ies2400. Get the list of possible errors fixed in your mind and then apply what you’ve learned and internalized to Collegeboard practice tests. Instead of just scoring yourself, reflect on your errors. Don’t proceed to the next writing section until you’ve done this self-evaluation and you’ve learned something new or are doing something different (based on your self-evaluation).

None of the SAT math questions require the use of a calculator. You’re coming into the test a lot stronger when you’ve shown yourself, as you do practice tests and exercises, that you no longer need to look to the calculator for help. In fact, the calculator has the potential to get in your way to reaching higher score.

2400, but I’m quite curious what the CR curve was. I think it was generous because I thought I missed 2-4 questions.

I figured the math would have a brutal curve. Definitely the easiest one in a while but losing 50 points on a careless mistake would be rough for anyone.

Disappointed in my scores (
M:800
W:800(11E&77MC)
Cr: 690(stupid vocab )
C:2290
Superscore: 2320(720CR)

At least my superscore is ok but 1490/1600 isn’t great: /

@mindyt sorry but you missed 4. 2 would be a 750

CR: 800
M: 660
W: 770 (10 Essay)

Total: 2230

If -1 was a 750 on Math, then it looks like I was probably right when I predicted that I missed 3 questions.

The painful part of all this though is that 2 of those missed questions were because of dumb errors—an addition error (I should have used my calculator, to be honest) and a bubbling error. I could have had a 750 if I had only paid more attention. And this is the score I’m going to have to live with since December is the last date before apps are due for me and I still have to take the SAT IIs.

Hopefully I can get an 800 on Math II to make up for this. Congrats to everyone who is satisfied with their scores and good luck to everyone planning to retake! Also, sorry to those who didn’t get what they were hoping for, like me. This looks like it was a historically brutal curve for math, and possibly even CR given the difficulty of those vocab questions.

Holy… I did like 250 worst than my target score.
CR: 630
Math: 750
Writing: 670 (63 MC, 10 E)

CR I just bombed… I don’t even know how… its my weakest area but even my lowest CR scores on practice tests are 680’s
Math I was expecting an 800, but apparantly 1 wrong dropped me to a 750. well then…
I usually get 760+ in writing, and it drops to a 670…

I’m pretty bummed. Got a 2050 and was expecting 2250-2300. Ouch.

Junior PSAT- 216
Oct SAT - 2180 (730 CR, 750 M, 700 W (9 E))
Nov SAT - 2390 (800 CR, 800 M, 790 W (77 raw,10 E))

The impossible dream came true.

I’m also wondering about the CR curve. I thought I made 2-4 mistakes.

is anyone here genuinely curious about their CR score? I’m hearing conflicting reports of some peopel saying the curve was nice and others saying the curve was brutal. I got a 690 which is at least 40-50 points lower than I expected.

@ah1217 I’m EXTREMELY curious. I did 100 points less than I expected one this one. I hope there was some sort of mistake. I just want to see my detailed score report to figure out where I went wrong or if there was some sort of error…

@fcm951 I’m in the same exact place, and I haven’t been taking it very well… What are your plans for improving?

Ok so someone on this thread said that she got a 730 for 97%, but my friend got a 760 for 95%… (for cr) im really confused.

I have no clue what happened… I missed 3 at MAXIMUM for math. and i got a 680. I have no clue whats going on. Anyone else care to share their math score and how many they think they got wrong?

Thought I failed Reading but still got a 720 somehow lmao. 750 M and 700 Writing. So disappointed >:(

And a 610 on the reading… Holy crap. The curve on reading and math may have been most brutal ever… Not even kidding on this

This is an outrage lol. Collegeboard keeps making the tests easier and easier but its just killing the curves. Unfair

One wrong on math was -50 for my D.

AHAHAHA this is ridiculous -1 math a 750, -2 a 720 and -3 a 700 and -4 a 680??? So unfair. This is the most brutal math curve by far

2340.
750 reading
800 math
790 writing (11 essay)
Hell yes.
