***Official Nov 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

I can’t remember. But i’m leaning towards probably. I got a 780 on writing last time, I want an 800!

how many no errors did you get

I honestly can’t remember… maybe 3 or 4?

@Tkat97‌ Good luck, I hope you get an 800!! When did you take it last time and how many MC did you get wrong + what was your essay score that gave you a 780?

I got a 10 on the essay and two mc wrong. @redrabbit23. And thanks!! It’d be amazing for me to get near an 800 on CR too. Math always kills me, i’m just hoping for a 650 or so on math.

Here’s my prediction of scores.

CR- 500-550 (lol)
Math- 800 (If I made a careless error I have yet to realize, maybe 750)
Writing- 650 (9-10 essay)

Has anyone hear gotten an 80 on cr? how many mc did you get wrong

on the writing I put “being” as an error but most people are saying no error, so now I have to hope for no other mistakes and an 11 essay to get an 800 on writing :(

@Tkat97‌ Haha I’m the exact opposite. CR (especially vocab) always gets me, I can already count 4 wrong vocab answers… but I’m hoping for an 800 in math XD

@Tkat97 usually you can get 2-3 wrong on CR and still have 800. CR has the most generous curve.

@synack‌ Usually how much do scores decrease per wrong answer after the 800 mark?

@synack you’ll be fine, but yea it was no error. I bet you still get an 800.

awesome… that’d be sick. @synack

Wasn’t the convenience store one B? It was furthest away from the slope, and at a point where the convenience store had a much lower price than the other store on the y axis.

It was D.

It was around $1.50 in the supermarket but around $3.00 in the convenience store.

what was the question?

With the three-digit number thing, was the four in the hundreds place? Because if so, then I read the question wrong… crap…

@redrabbit23 In Jan 2014 the reading curve was:
Raw Scaled
67 800
66 800
65 790
64 770
63 760

So after 800 it seems to alternate between -20 and -10 on the high end of the scale. This one is expected to have a better curve because of the tough vocab.

There were five possibilities for that positive 3-digit number.

594
484
374
264
154

No being was the error. Being is wrong 99% of the time on the SAT. it’s basically a freebee.
