Hell yeah!!!
34! Destroyed my predictions and previous score!

@Adrenalinegirl
The numbers count for Ivy but more then that who you are i think is the most important deciding factor for admission. So if you see yourself at Yale give it all you got. You might surprise youself.

English 35
Mathematics 28
Reading 33
Science 30
Composite 32

Happy for my first time taking it!

Composite: 35
English: 34
Math: 36
Reading: 34
Science: 34

First ACT and I am way too excited to not have to take it again.

Thanks danlincou c:

I’m a junior. This was my second time taking it (took it in Sept 2013 first), moving my composite from a 31 to a 33. If I had gotten just one or two more problems correct, I would have gotten a 34.
While I’m generally happy with my score, I’m debating whether I should retake it- I don’t see any reason why not to.
What are the general thoughts on retaking?

E: 35 (Thought I got a 34)
M: 30 (God damnit got a FREAKING 35 LAST TIME!)
R:35 (As expected)
S:36 (As expected)

For a composite of 34! I’m pretty happy, and I guess I’ll just send in this test and my previous test to all my colleges so they can see the 35 that I got in math. 35 Superscore!

Can somebody help me subscore my ACT to a converted SAT score?
Here are my highest scores from the ACT (did better on this exam than on the SAT:)

English: 24
Reading: 20
Science: 22
Math: 23
Writing: 23
Total Composite: 22

I’m trying to figure out my CR + M score… Would the CR be English and Reading together, or just English? If only English I’d have 1100 (!!!), but if both, around a 1020.

Congrats to everyone on their scores!! Great work!!

Composite was a 23… Two points lower than my last one, but my super score is now a 26!

If it’s true that the subscores are out of 18, then how is it that I got a 30 in English with 17 in Usage/Mechanics and a 15 in Rhetorical Skills?

Was the grading that harsh or is my calculation wrong?

Composite: 35
English: 35
Math: 32 (got 35 on ALL practice test!!!)
Reading: 36
Science: 36

@artsyfartsy:
I think that’s about a 1030, with a 530 writing section, so like 1560ish in all?

@esai: idk, that seems about right I guess, maybe it shoulda been a little higher than 30? I got a 35 with an 18 in usage/mechanics and a 17 in rhetorical skills (got that exact same thing both times, lol).

@missouriboy: haha that stinks about math, but can’t be complaining about a 35! I got a 35 on like all math practice tests too (and a 36 last test), and a 34 on this one. If I’d just gotten that 35 it would’ve brought my composite up to 35 too.

R: 33
S: 32
M: 30 (Bleh!)
E: 31 (Big improvement)
Essay: 8 (Bleh! but improved)

Composite: 32!

@LoveArtForever - But see that’s what I don’t get. You got 18/17 for subscores and I got 17/15 for subscores, yet my English score is 5 points lower than yours… I can show you the image if you’d like too!

Oh well, I’m taking it in December anyway.

E: 34
M: 31
R: 31
S: 27
Essay: 10

Composite: 31

A little upset with math because that’s what I spent a lot of my time on. I honestly don’t understand how you do the science section. Obviously that’s what’s holding me back, but I’m grateful that it’s a 27. Maybe December will be even better?

Congratulations everyone on your great scores.

E; 25
M: 22
R: 21
S: 21
Composite= 22
Essay = 8

This was my first time taking it. I used a Sylvan learning class to prep on 10 Saturdays in a row. I don’t know if it helped that much. It was very expensive.

Now I am going to study with real tests only.

Trying again in December!

Congratulations!

fcallicotte- I would love a 30! Don’t be so hard on yourself.

Actual:

32 English

26 Reading

Composite: 29

LET’S GO DECEMBER ACT. GOOD LUCK SENIORS.
