Here is a confirmed list of answers for the sentence completions:

Section containing the passage about relativity and quantum theories:
Benefactor
Rebellious
Discern
Indulge … and a second word I can’t remember
Circumscribed (by stringent rules)

Section with the MLK Paired Passage:
Honored
Depicted …travelled (the photographer thought that animals should be depicted in their natural settings so she travelled alot)
Emblem
Curative … toxic
Bent … Analyzing (yes, penchant will work for the first blank and yes bent is an unusual word but this is the answer!)
Prodigious (a prodigious or large amount of dust)

20 Minute Section with the very difficult passage about the teacher’s theories of acting ie the one that starts out with her grandfather’s quote and then proceeds to two theories of acting. Ugh! This was one of the worst passages ever!!!
Loner
Commodity
Continuous … Quiescent (sometimes the volcanic eruptions were continuous and sometimes they were quiescient or quiet)
Bully (admininstration tried to bully the students but they would not be intimidated. Yes, cajole was tempting but cajole means to coax and is not supported by intimidation. So the answer was Bully)
Duplicitious … Candid
Cosmopolitan

no its not commodity cause it was talking of butter as money. it was refund.

i can understand y cant collegeboard release the essay topics which i get…even in may my essay topic wasnt listed y is this…

yea i think firetruck was in 2nd section…it also had the triangle area question with answer 35

sorry maybe the commodity question is right.

nah its commodity
commodity is also an “article of trade”

are u sure its bully? it seems like they were coaxing the students through intimidation?

Cajole
1 : to persuade with flattery or gentle urging especially in the face of reluctance

Hey, I put cajole too but it’s definitely bully.

Just as a general question, was this not the hardest SAT anyone has taken? I found both math and reading (especially the MLK questions) to be quite a bit harder than the one I took in March. I will be very suprised if my scores do not go down. I wonder if this is a general trend? I mean colleges keep getting harder and harder to get into, average SATs and GPA go up, there are more and more students taking APs. When will the inflation stop?

“When will the inflation stop?”

it won’t…

for this question 'Depicted …travelled (the photographer thought that animals should be depicted in their natural settings so she travelled alot

i thought the answer should be ‘captured…quarrelled’ because photos capture the image?

but quarrelled is clearly wrong. Photos also depict.

don’t led the thread die…

i thought that this SAT was easier than the one in June

yeah i did the SAT in june. i thought this one was harder esp the math section.

Esp the CR,I think.

its weird. for the june sat i got 49/55 raw score which was a 730 in math. everyone here seems to suggest that the grading curves are much steeper than they actually are. i think they are actually more lenient. i find the verbal curve tougher than the math.

I had this format:
Essay
Math
Reading (includes 2 long passages)
Equating (the one that doesn’t count toward your score)
Writing
Math (includes SPR questions)
Reading
Math
Reading
Writing

With a critical reading section for the equating. Does anybody who also had this format remember which passages were in that section?

This is what I had. The Math experimental had a cone problem? Anyone else have this…

i had a cone problem. that wasnt experimental.

can somebody refresh my memory and name a ‘‘popular question that was on the experimental?’’
