<p>I can’t believe the Cards lost.</p>
<p>I really needed a nice story of overcoming odds to accomplish something great to push me through this application lull period.</p>

<p>Larry Fitzgerald is amazing, though. And Kurt Warner is still a very good quarterback who brings out his best for the big games. All of his Super Bowls have been instant classics.</p>
<p>Acceptd, are you SERIOUS!!! The man is like 40 years old, and he had twice as good of stats as Roethlisberger!!! If they had pulled out the W, he had MVP in the bag.</p>
<p>Actually, hookem, I kind of liked Fitz for that, too.</p>
<p>But I really just hate QB’s always getting the credit to be honest. I get like this around Heisman time, too.</p>
<p>Darn, I was really hoping the Cardinals would really pull it off. 
That 100 yard touchdown was somethin, though.</p>
<p>lol w.o Fitz warner would have been nothing. anyways - his season stats are trivial compared to his performance in the game that counts… in the end he couldn’t pull it off. obviously he’s a great QB, no doubt… but he couldn’t come up in the clutch. @ “And Kurt Warner is still a very good quarterback who brings out his best for the big games.” really? lol we both know that wasn’t his best… or am i missing something?</p>

<p>dude warners pro he definitely just confirmed any doubters for his spot in the hall of fame when his turn comes around. fitz would have deserved the MVP but in all honesty warner has shown that he can bring his game even if fitz isn’t on his. he produced two other 1000 yard receivers, boldin and breaston, and even made jerheme urban look good at times… and urban’s just some inexperienced white guy. </p>
<p>i was mad that nobody even questioned that fumble at the end of the game, warner definitely threw it. just like on that “fumble” in the third quarter where he once again definitely threw it. that got me pretty angry… i mean they gave tom brady quite the benefit of the doubt back against oakland in the snow, which is totally BS. too many flags in that game too… it’s the super bowl, let the boys play football.</p>
<p>but amazing catch by holmes at the end there, definitely was a dagger to the heart but it made for a hell of a super bowl</p>

<p>He threw for the second most yards in Super Bowl history (377) on a defense that had never even given up 250 the whole regular season.</p>

<p>^ because of their defense and some crappy calls.</p>
<p>And let’s not forget his Superbowl WIN with the Rams, with yet another great passing performance.</p>
<p>i’m not disputing warner as a qb, “obviously he’s a great QB, no doubt,” made that pretty blatant - i thought…</p>
