**Official Princeton Class of 2013 Decisions COUNTDOWN!**

Those had to be some of the best lectures, I used his lectures to learn some of the stuff for my project and his thought experiment to explain the Heisenberg uncertainty principle was amazing.

ooooh do you guys want to hear a Heisenberg joke.
Okay, so Why does Heisenberg hate to drive his car?

Guys, seriously? Feynman is OK, but you have to go with Winston Churchill!

Not only would he give me the best lessons on war strategy and domestic/foreign policy, but he would also throw in amazingly witty one-liners. What a character. I’d love to share a cigar and a pint with him :)

Answer: Because every time he looks at the speedometer he gets lost!

Bwahahahaha…
That’s a real knee-slapper. =))

^ Rofl. That’s hilarious. I have to remember that one. LOL

@ Dbate.
Yea I have the book of his Caltech lectures. The way everything is explained is so different than you normally see but so logical. It was probably the reason I applied to Caltech haha.

well as for the questions i guess i don’t really follow in line with all of you guys and gals…

1) live off of DMB, and plenty of breaking benjamin, 10 years, shinedown, stained, ie the whole rock/alternative scene but none of the poppy fray kind of stuff

2) reggie miller, child-hood hoops hero

3) all the little obnoxious cars cause i don’t fit very comfortably in them

i guess my answers don’t really reflect on me as an intellectual but w/e

Oh my gosh, at first I did not get that joke but then I did and I literally LOLed!!

ahaha that’s my favorite joke.

After I tell that joke, I grin at my friends (kinda creepily, like a mad scientists), and tell them “ya know, They say Mathematical puns are the sine of madness.”

hip hop/rap, classical, classical rock, some alternative and modern rock, some techno

michelangelo or da vinci

4 cylinder vehicles

Maybe as an addendum to CC Rule #3, re juniors: Once you become a senior, you realize things aren’t the same junior year as they were “back in your day”. On the March SAT thread, two people openly confessed to going back to finish a section after time was called on it. That never happended back in MY day. :)

LOL@ FLoatingSaturn!

I know what you mean Butternut! Being a senior suddenly makes me feel so much older than the juniors, even though we’re only a year apart.

tomorrow is the one week mark! let the hyperventilation begin!

This is just like an amazingly-stretched version of the wait between taking the SAT and getting the results…
The first few days it’s all you can think about. Then you forget it for two weeks. Then the last few days it’s all you can think about.
Or maybe that’s just me.

i can’t believe it’s already down to 8 days

In other news… I was just waitlisted by Rice! It feel sooo good to not be rejected! :D

FloatingSaturn, that’s GENIUS! I literally snorted!

Waitlisted by Rice? Wow, that’s one of my other options. Better check my email soon.

8 more days girls and boys! I’m bracing myself for a fat rejection letter/email. Pessimism rocks.

Shougan- it’s obvious you’re far too brilliant for them, and they’re scared that you’ll turn 'em down for Princeton!

And Wolf, methinks that in college admissions, pessimisim = sanity.

Butternut,

Definitely. I’ve seen too many smiling fools get crushed by rejection letters.

I just got into Rice!
I was sitting in Waffle House with my parents when the e-mail came and I literally shouted, “Ahh! I just got into Rice!”

and the waitress told me congratulations and took my meal off the ticket. hahahaha.

Butternut, you flatter me   I’m praying for some more good news now!

Wolf, good news?

haha my friend just got into Rice as well!

Then again, she also got into Caltech and Amherst (Hispanic female engineer…an adcom’s dream) so we were basically expecting it ;)
