hehe my dad had to give me some sleeping pills last night… haha. two nights ago i had 5 dreams about opening my mailbox… i actually remember being like “okay, i have to make sure this is REAL and NOT A DREAM” in my dreams…

So Sailesh and phillyland, you found out by email right? If I don’t have one yet, (international) wat do you think that means?..

no. i got my package (ups express) delivered to my school by my parents… opened it during the break. the whole school is freaking out right now.

No philly knows it by his package. (At least it is delivered)

I’m waiting for my email too - but if they really mail each applicant manually (which I think is absolute nonsense, it’s a 2minute task to program a script which did the job in 3 seconds, but that’s the same with online decisions…) it might take some time and they’ll definitely mail the acceptees first (lucky you).

Yeah, I’m not a big dreamer at all and I had a dream last night about opening my mailbox. When I woke up I expected to be waking up in a Princeton dorm… imagine my surprise :P

I think my mail is in the mailbox… just gotta decide when to look at it :)

so davidalex, if sailesh found out by email and your assumption is correct and we haven’t gotten an email, we’re screwed?

depends on how long it takes them to mail and how many acceptees exist…

Wouldn’t worry too much if I was you. Personally I’ve done the UPS thing…

zarah,look at post no. 396

Decision is not in the mail? Grrr
Another day?!

Windslicer I know what you mean, are you international?

And you’re in FL, right?
that’s kind of strange that you didn’t get it…but maybe your mailman/post office is super slow or something.

I am in FL, yes.

I guess we’re just a little slow, heh. The decision (whether acceptance or not) should all come at the same time, so I’m not making the conclusion that this means deferral… heh.

i got UPS as well as email…
but email was due to the fact that the international director of admission had emailed me earlier …and i had asked him to email decision in the reply…and he did that…it was for me only…it doesn’t mean that everyone should get email

zarah, i’m international and practically live on the other side of the world from princeton. I received my acceptance letter this morning. I’ve not received an email so far so don’t worry. No email doesn’t equal rejection. so you just have to wait it out.

hey WindSlicer where r u in FL?

Congrats, albert!
Mind posting stats?

where you from albert?

Port St. Lucie

A friend of mine says the mail first goes to a big warehouse in Ft. Lauderdale, so that could be a reason why it’s taking a little longer than normal. My mom said her friend sent something to New Jersey the other day and it took 6 days -_-"

ok, at the official decisions thread :)

this is it!!
