Official Questbridge National College Match 2010-2011

crosses fingers and hopes for everyone

Good luck to everyone!

Just a friendly reminder. Remember that most of the acceptances will come during Regular Decision. At one of their College Prep conferences, the QB staffers said if you’re not matched, take 24 hours to feel sad and get it all out of your system. Then move on to the RD process. I think it’s excellent advice.

Ahh 4 hours!!!

what do you mean 4 hours?

I am new here and think this is a great idea. It has been such a long process and I hope it all ends today, but if not RD here I come.

I’m so tired of waiting.

Hi guys!

Last year I was the first to be notified and that was at around 12:15 PST (3:15 EST, my time at the time). This is unusually early and that was via phone call. Don’t fret if you don’t receive a phone call, phone calls are not part of the official policy and only Matches at certain schools will receive phone calls, anyway.

Remember that the magic is in RD - not the Match.

Thank you applicannot! Btw,i looked through the thread last year and i saw your post when you got matched to Stanford lol.

anyone get a reply yet!!! I know I have almost no chance, but theres always hope…

Oh man, applicannot…I’ve been sitting in school all day worrying about the time and it’s such a relief that it’s now just starting. On the other hand, OH MAN, IT’S NOW STARTING!!

Good luck to everyone!

Good luck!!! Best wishes for you all!!

does questbridge email you even if you havent been matched? my cousin was sitting in class and he won a councelor through the quesbridge for excellence thing and he found out that he got matched with williams during our calculus class, from a phone call from his councelor. that was around 11 EST.

Just a tip, if you get a phone call from an unknown area code, SERIOUSLY pull over to the side of the road if you are driving. My legs were shaking and luckily I was in a parking lot when my D got her call, but things could have been bad if I had been on the road at the time.

Don’t forget to check your spam folders, it seems quite a few emails have ended up in those for QB finalists.

Congratz to your friend :D.

Best of luck to the rest of you.

The waiting game is almost sort of over. Then comes Regular Decision (for most of us).

ahhhh. anyone get any emails yet?

Wow! I’m nervous for you all and I’m not even in QB! Hahaaa but seriously, BEST OF LUCK! You guys are all amazing people for even making it past the first round. I hope to meet some of you in college :)

Yeah, please post as soon as you get an e-mail  (and after the congratulations and ecstasy of acceptance of course)

In past years, acceptance emails come before the others.

And just as a side note, I remember D had looked up the area code for the QB offices, assuming the call would come from there, and when it did come, it was from a QB staffers private cell phone with a TX area code. She almost didn’t answer, thinking it was a wrong number!

way to crush our hopes lady. do you really have nothing better to do?
