Official Rice/Baylor Thread!

Lighten up, pal. The typo was funny.

hey cmon…laugh a little…who kares avout espelin? dont conform!

yay sergio!
You arr so write! :)

Haha, you guys have no idea how ironic this is for me. No hard feelings, jym, it just seemed like you were picking on the dude for no reason. :)

nope, stanford_dude. Not picking on anyone. It just struck me as ironic and funny. Just enjoying the fact that it made me laugh. And btw, I became a member of my “future” alma mater(s) 25+ years ago. So, when something makes us old geezers laugh, it’s worth sharing with you young’uns :)

lol…yea man

rice mails out interim decisions in 12 days, cant wait!!!

Doesn’t that make me feel foolish. Haha.

Don’t feel bad Stanford_dude. I thank you for the additional chuckle of your reference to my “maturity”, as I qualify to receive AARP’s publicatin (“Modern Maturity”). It, however, gets put in the circular file.

Lesson for all of us. Sit back and enjoy the funnier things in life. I am sure there is a Marx brothers quote that would be appropriate here, if I could think of it…

yea…interim decision in 12 days…! im already in though lol haha

do they have to accept us interim before they send us an application for their bs/md program?

yes, you’ll get the application with your acceptance letter

so you can basically tell if you got into rice by the size of the envelope. weird…

This is true for almost every college. Big/fat envelope=admission. A few schools send thin envelopes, but that is the minority.

Yeah, with Rice it’s pretty obvious - big envelope with a priority mail sticker on it.

yea, its a big ass envelope. but they scared me at first and sent me a letter saying they had received my application…i was scared when i saw the small envelope

so if I see a small envelope Im pretty much doomed?

when do we get it?

Has anyone heard from Rice, yet?

h2md1

nope nothing yet…
