@Jpgranier , that seems awfully disjointed and counterintuitive. At the end of the day, it’s impossible to know but one would reasonably assume that if the one person read your CommonApp essay, the natural transition would be to read the rest of your supplements(and consequently the “Box”, which is literally just a picture :)) ) , which stand at only 250-400 words a piece. Dividing the labor unnecessarily like that would be a logistical nightmare, especially in such a work-heavy environment[during application season and what not].
I appreciate the bit of information though. It’d be a shame for -a lot- of applicants if that were true. Giving context to the Box eliminates the need of the admission officer to “guess” how the heck that image applies at all to the applicant, especially if their one and only job was to look at “Box” submissions all day hahahah
