I put 1/2. It was like this…

1/m < 1/k < 0

So I used k= -4 and m= -2, and it was definitely what is the least one divided by the greatest one, so let’s say m/k. m/k = -2/-4 = 1/2

sorry slipstream,
I tested it out repeatedly and put 1/2.

yeah same here: 1/2

1/2…tested repeatedly…it was the only one that worked…honestly…really…1/2 is the answer.

but do we agree that for those who had it, the Chinese Emigrant passage was experimental?

Rideboarder, that would be GENEOLOGY : FAMILY

It’s the study of the roots of your family, likewise etymology is the study of the root of words. I think.

And slipstream: I put 1/2

Ok, I’m officially stupid then…

i am shocked that there has been this much debate over whether its 8pi or 15pi. I thought that question should have been #1 it was so easy. 15pi. all you 8pi-ers overread it and i think it’s funny.

also, whats the deal with the collegeboard site? it says “click here to find out which section was experimental”, then when you click it tells you the june SAT info. kind of annoying. I hope you guys are right that section 3, the math, was experimental.

What was the 15pi question?

^^^There’s no doubt that that was an experimental section. Only those with 4 math sections had the questions on that section. Also, concepts such as “which graph shows strongest linear relationship” and “olivia’s promise isn’t true if…” aren’t covered by the current (old) SAT.

i thought it was 1/k<1/m<0 and the question was was it m/k.

Doesn’t REALLY matter, see?

k = -4, m = -2

1 / -4 = -1/4
1 / -2 = -1/2

-2/-4 (m/k) = 1/2

shrug

Does anyone remember the last math question on the short section? # 10, few problems after the 15pi one…

tlaktan, but that means that you just said -1/4<-1/2<0

[edit] but your original one was right (or somehow switched… basic concept was the same). i remember being veeeery careful on this problem.

Does anyone remember an analogy with the answer choice: philosophy : beliefs?
Or the analogy: indictment : accusation? I put ruling : decision but I remember struggling between that one and another answer… Or were these experimental?

–> I think I don’t have this section, is it experimental ?

I’ve read a lot of threads but somebody plz give a conclusion about which section of the verbal test is experimental ?

Women in Antartica

Dual passage

Those above are experimental.

The women in antarctica is NOT experimental.

If you had Section 1 Verbal, I think I heard that Section 5 was experimental.

Where did you hear this from? I hope it is since i skipped 3 on this section. I had VMMVVVM in order of sections

Which section had the Chinese thing?

i believe section 5 had the chinese emigrant one and had analogies that included :“testimonial:complimentary” and “fixation:…” if ppl are right, that would be experimental cause Antarctica and Spanglish passage weren’t (i don;t think)
