pinprick : puncture :: quibble : objection
Yup, just checked pinprick. A pinprick is a “minor” puncture, while a quibble is a “minor” objection.

21st for the sunday question

okay

some tests had 2 Math QC’s/Quant Comp sections
- one of which is exp. (the without the painters, cars, AB line segment)
some tests had 2 Math 25 Question sections - one of which is exp. (the one which u filled in on section 3, since section 1 was common to everybody is is NOT exp.)
some tests had 2 Verbal 35 Question sections - one of which is exp. (the one about Nixon)

therefore, the short passage one is not EXP. If anybody took PR Prep courses, they mentioned that short answer passages have been showing up on SAT exams since November 2003. However, these specific short answer questions showed up on the December 2003 exam (one that I took, no wonder they looked so familiar)

CollegeBoard recycles some passages from recent unpublished SAT Exams

If anybody has additions to this, please add…

I had a total of 4 verbal sections, none of which contained anything about Nixon.

What up now.

Are you sure about 4 verbal? I have one without Nixon, and it had 4 math and 3 verbal.

What were some of the others things in your test?

add that, wat was ur verbal about

some of these people are still talkin abou the exp. sections, thas why im posting that

I had:
chimps, spanish language, suave traveller guy,
woman who travels to korea
chinese cindarella big sister
hiking
twinkling stars

chinese cinderella big sister was the EXP. period.

Heh, you didn’t have 4 verbal sections then.
4 math, 3 verbal
math, verbal, math, math, verbal, math, verbal – I believe

*Fourth math was experimental

how many squares should be added to make it 60%

Ah, geez… Wasn’t it 10? Yah, I think so.

yeah i think it was 10

cause it had 5/25 already ther
so 15/25 = 60%

nice…

Hmm… yeah… I think I did alright on the math (well, so far I haven’t really found any wrong… yay =)), all except the last question. It was really easy I’m sure, but I totally blanked. It was the one with averages. What did you get?

14 was the median

the one with number of children watchin tv (hours)

14 was the answer
cause u had to write it out and u get 15 total numbers

go:
–7–> 14 <–7–

2
1[ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]
[ ] [ ] [ ]

something like that, i think the answer was 12 x 1

I had 4 verbal and didn’t have chinese cinderella big sister one, nor did I have a mini-dual passage. There were obviously multiple experimentals for both verbal and math.

ok so did everyone have the dual passages about clocks??

if not, then the REAL section was definitely:

CHIMPS
LATINOS
SMOOTH GUY
JEWELRY

right?

I thought the sunday one was 22…did i misread it? I thought the question asked what is the least number to get the most number of sundays in a month…

on the four sections of math i omitted about 20 question (grid in included) and got about 4 or 5 wrong. what would be my raw score considering the curve, and the experimenal
