The “up to” 3 passes was superfluous info meant to trick you. Since the question asked for “minimum” hiking-only, then it had to be 100, since you must exhaust as many multiple passes as possible. You use up the maximum number of multiple passes by doing as many doubles as possible, but no triples at all.

Steve you are correct

-3i was the imaginary numbers problem. Regardless of what you know, -3^2 times i^2 is 9 times -1. That’s the highest absolute value.

answer to the imaginary one was -3i

and y/x was definitely -1

Hiking is definitely 100. I was just about to post the reasoning but Steve beat me to it.

I think it was -3i because they asked for the absolute value. Idk tho. I put 2i then changed it

Ahh I see what you are saying. You are right. Good job.

what do you think 4 wrong on the math would be?

The angles problem was definitely 120…You have a right angle already, and the question is how much do you add to those 90 degrees. Because of the bisector, etc info, you know it has to be a 30-60-90 triangle on the top left. Vertical angles tell you that you have to add 30, so the answer is 120. You know not to add 60, since 150 wasn’t an option.

So far I think I got 55 right on the ACT Math and Guessed right on 5 Yay!!!

i think everyone over thought the 2 angle problem. it was just 2x+x=180. 2x is the larger angle.

I FOUND THE LION PASSAGE!!! Anyone remember the questions?

question on ENGLISH:

as evidently as/as evidenced by/as evidence of

I wasn’t even smart about the cabins; I just saw the pattern.

3 cabins, 3 paths
4 cabins, 6 paths
5 cabins, 10 paths

You just add the previous number of cabins to the previous number of paths to get the new number of paths.

5+10=15
6+15=21
7+21=28
8+28=36
9+36=45

as evidence of

i put as evidenced by

SteveJobs is right.

evidenced by

as evidenced by

as evidenced by…

From dictionary.com: definition of evidence

–verb (used with object) 4. to make evident or clear; show clearly; manifest: He evidenced his approval by promising his full support.
5. to support by evidence: He evidenced his accusation with incriminating letters.

So “as evidenced by” is the grammatically correct answer.
