Official Stanford 2013 Waitlist Discussion

They might’ve gotten attached to the schools they submitted SIRs to or the financial aid packages may have been inadequate.
A week isn’t enough time for them :frowning:
How many of the 85 would be likely to decline. Is the extended wait list yield rate close to the regular yield rate?
But if a lot of people decline, it would bring the hopes up for many of us on the extended wl, (only to get disappointed in the end =/).
I also think that many people may have chosen to leave the wait list out of frustration. But this is all baseless speculation. I don’t think I have any clue what’s going on or what these colleges are trying to do.
