I just went to see Burlesque- the plot was good, the production mediocre, but OH MY GOD THE DANCING. I WANT TO BE A BURLESQUE DANCER SO BADLY.

ah I want to see that!! And I didn’t get to see Social Network
As an avid rower, it’s a bit heartbreaking… but I suppose I’ll see it when it comes out on iTunes or the like!

@anyone who is up for skype

My username on skype is sarbaraj101 :p

Frosty- omg do you look like the Winklevoss twins? If so, wanna be my boyfriend?!?

…you are a boy, right?

I’m leaving for a ski trip that morning, so at least i’ll have some consolation when i get that rejection letter

My parents: “Well, hot pot is basically the same thing as a turkey.”

I remember those Winklevoss twins. They are so respectable! They were Olympic rowers AND kept 3.9 GPAs at HARVARD. It’s so rare to see people who can be both athletic and smart to the highest degree.

Wow, I’ve completely missed over 40 pages!

Haha, what’s up fellow Stanford SCEA’ers?

I’m off to Atlanta for a 5 day conference at a Ritz Carlton (whoo!). I’ll have internet, probably, but i wont be on much. Wish me luck, as i have to give a 15 minute speech in frotn of 300 adults…

^ Good luck!

@mickjagger - you do know that Harvard has major grade inflation, yea?

@courtney - hahahhaha no I’m a girl! I know I’ve never really introduced myself on this thread, but basically I’m a girl and a recruited rower. Unfortunately admissions doesn’t clear a lot of the athletes for early signing, so me and all the other girls are in the same boat (literally LOL)… BUT I met the twins at Head of the Charles!! Actually the background on my phone is of them, my pair, and I :)

Good Luck Jason!

I didn’t really see the Winklevoss twins as respectable from the movie. They kinda came off like arrogant snobs.

Yes, good luck Jason ![]()
And well, I think that’s how they were supposed to come off. That didn’t make them any less beautiful, or smart, or rich ![]()
Sorry then for hitting on you, frosty! My apologies :)

Good luck frosty! I know a current rower at stanford, she applied REA and found out like a week early!

whooo haven’t been on here for awhile and man have I missed a lot it looks like… hahaha. Gah I feel an almost compulsive need to keep busy so I don’t think about admissions decisions… ha hopefully you know what I mean. Plus the fact that decisions are announced a day before my birthday, that’s gonna be interesting :/

Omg Soccerfan your birthday is the 11th? Mine’s the 12th!!

…so just how many people on here have December birthdays? Mine’s the 2nd.

I don’t have a December birthday, but I would take an acceptance letter as an amazing Christmas present :0)

Courtney - no worries hahha

@minnie - oaikdfasf if i get the call a week early I might die because I would be so unprepared. Ahhh I suppose I’ll just be on alert from now until the 15th. And I’ll be sure to let you all know!! Isn’t it incredible that we’re all going to college next year (regardless of where we end up)? IM SO EXCITED!

2,000 posts! :)
