Nevada just won in OT! 34-31

Wow can’t believe i missed the game.

hahahah oh you football fanatics…

SWIMMERS IN THE HOUSE? or runners? ballerina? gymnasts? bgirls (haha i did dance only for a yr though xD)? badmintonners?

@nerdess Yea, I know… I kept telling myself I was going to memorize them when it was necessary, but so far our material hasn’t covered anything with them.
I used to be a runner! Back like in middle school if that counts for anything. I still run a lot though, you kinda have to when playing soccer.

don’t leave me hanging…
;_____;

[sorry, I’m so used to having new comments everytime I refresh the page. haha I’m impatient ><]

OKAY THANKS REALLYREAL i’m really impatient
andddd soccer! YEEE which team did you root for world cup?

Nice to meet everyone, I usually lurk rather than post on this thread, but I should probably introduce myself. I’m a Californian who is an eclectic mix of SouthEast Asian heritages, and this last summer I played soccer and studied peace & conflict with international students from Central Asia (Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, etc.) in VA.

I used to cheer my freshman year, but I’ve been focusing most of my time with ModelUN and community service at my library. I also host interfaith, transcultural web conferences between my school and schools outside the US. I can be a huge perfectionist at times, and I’m known to stay up later than I should, but overall I’m a pretty friendly person if you meet me in person. Score-wise, I’m unspectacular, but if college plans don’t turn out well at least I can look forward to this upcoming summer!

Gadgor, it was really good! As for me, I play soccer and volleyball.

oh hey top aren’t you the questbridge finalist I talked to the other day? nice to meet you.

welcome, topramennbaklava!
just wondering, does the “baklava” in your name refer to the…real deal baklava?
AHHH I LOVE BAKLAVA!!! it just happens to be that I ate my first baklava w/ my UN Club/MUN group in preparation for our trip to ethiopia. I’m also from cali! YEEEAH.

HPFan, nice! I’m not good at it, but i love to play vball :]

No problem nerdess! I’m here to keep you from ADD outbreaks.
As for the World Cup, I was going for USA all the way! and then Argentina once they lost. the light blue and white always caught my eye.
I’m sorry if I’m late to the party, but it would be cool to add you guys on facebook to put a face to the username! If yall could PM me how to search for you then that would be great!.. or not, if you think I’m a creeper or something. :P

Oh gosh. I abhorred my Bio and Chem classes. I just don’t like having to memorize insane amounts of material, and chemistry was even more boring in that respect, since it dealt with only 118 element names and abbreviations…

On the other hand, PHYSICS IS AWESOME. I think it’s sad that not everyone takes a physics class during their high school years…

I’ve been dancing since I was two
for the first 14 years it was classical ballet, like in a studio with a barre and stuff… But this year my coursework was too severe and I had to take some time off
so now my dancing consists of my daily dance parties. They usually occur when getting ready in the morning and any time I’m in my car
This thread is awfully busy tonight!

I’m glad it is. This discussion has been nothing but interesting :D

psh I DO NOT HAVE ADD! MORE LIKE HYPERHYPERHYPERHYPERHYPER-ness!

:P

I’m Korean. Duh I root for Korea. But once they lost, I was Argentina all the way [MESSI! <3]. Then after ARG lost, DEUSCHTLAND!

I’m only connected to Sarba, Courtney, and minnie on fb! PM ME YOUR NAMES!

Of course I wanted the US, but then I was rooting for Uraguay. I like Diego Forlan.

nerdess I’m Korean too. Nice to meet you. Korea all the way.

This thread’s getting pretty crazy. I’m just chilling on the couch playing Assassin’s Creed.

I LOVE facebook for connecting me with my fellow CCers ![]()
And it’s okay, nerdess. I’ve been told I need adderall more than once in my life ;)

@gadgor; Hey nice to see you again!

@nerdess, Haha, yes m’am. I’m in love with food, especially from the Mediterranean. That’s so neat; it’s a bit eerie that you mention Ethopia, because this Red Cross/UN Club only a town away from mine went there last year!

And about Bio and chem, I loved it! I think I would have liked Physics too…if my teacher actually tried teaching the material.
