HAHAHAHAHAH
easy now, Courtney. Get that steam out. wheesh choo-choo XD

uh sorry Courtney already referred hahah

Stanford’ll send us emails! We don’t get them at the same time [as everyone else], though. Don’t freak out if others got one and you don’t…and don’t freak out if this doesn’t happen haha. It’s just been like this for the last few years. Things could be different this year.

The in-depth break down is appreciated.

So I just got an e-mail welcoming me to the Stanford University Class of 2015…

Just kidding, I wish

Oh man BigKev I ate my heart when I read that hahah wow

Interesting question: Any HSSCer’s out here?

Haha… It’s kind of obvious when a university tells you to keep checking your email :o Especially Stanford since it’s really into going green, though it still sends out a letter for acceptances (maybe denials too?).

I’m also a writer, though I don’t remember whether or not I ever mentioned it here. Basically prose and some poetry, usually free-verse I guess? I love writing descriptive prose, like if I’m sitting and watching a beautiful sunset or something. Or sitting in the mountains. Very descriptive! Haha. I’ve wanted to try fiction, but have never really had the time. I was thinking of entering the Scholastic writing competition, but again, not enough time unfortunately.

AH! Kev my heart stopped when you said that. And I almost went to check my email. Ahhh we’re going to find out so soon!!!

wow…this thread has quadrupled (quintupled? octupled?) since the last time I’ve seen it.
what has everyone been talking about?

I can’t believe the results are coming out on the 10th! That’s so soon…

Haha, I’m glad I got some of y’all. But yeah, I’ve been checking my e-mail every day for the last two weeks, just in case something happens. It’s crazy since I’ve maybe used my e-mail 10 times before I applied to Stanford.

Well, sarba was gonna make a list of stuff we’ve talked about! sarbaaaaaaaa!!!

I know, right? I’m simultaneously anticipated and terrified out of my mind. On the 10th, I think I’m going to open my email the same way I checked my SAT scores: with very very squinted eyes. ;)

Haha, when the ACT scores were posted I was asleep in my bed at 12:00 refreshing the website over and over again. When it finally showed that I got a 35, I let out the biggest scream of joy in the world, waking up everyone in my house. I was worried sick that I wouldn’t get higher than a 30 and would be relegated to going to community college.

Ohh Emma, you always miss Sarba so much! Every time I talk to you, all I hear is “Sarba, Sarba, Sarba!”
Sarba- I think she’s obsessed ;)

Lol
Yeah, I’m not so good when it comes to pressure and nervousness and stuff–just thinking about the upcoming decision makes my heart race a little faster!

I wish that I could time-travel…I just want to know so that I can set my mind at ease, even if it is not such a good result. =P

I mean, they’ve probably already made most of the decisions already! Which is freakishly alarming when I think about it.

hey everyone… I’ve just been skimming through this thread and everyone seems really friendly! yay:) I’m really nervous for the 10th as well!

Sorry Jess, but we’re actually a bunch of @ssholes in real life. We just act nice because adcoms might be reading the thread.

Haha I’m just playing, good luck and keep us updated, alright? Also if you’d want to introduce yourself, that’d be awesome. I’m BigKev, by the way (in case you didn’t know).

Haha it’s funny how you immediately call me Jess because that’s what everyone at my school calls me. I’m Jessica (Jess) from Virginia! Should I be saying any other info?

^ Which region of VA? (Mostly I want to know if I’m going to be compared to you at all… I’m not stalking you. :p)

I’m not from NoVa, which I’m actually thankful for. I’m from good ol’ southeastern Virginia.
