<p>On a totally random note, since when did Stanford change its early action from “Single-Choice Early Action” to “Restrictive Early Action”? Apparently it’s been called “Stanford SCEA” on these forums for quite a long time…</p>

<p>Well, last year’s thread title was “Stanford 2014 SCEAers”… but then the decision threads listed it as “REA”. So I’m really confused now.</p>
<p>[Stanford’s</a> website](<a href=“Page Not Found : Stanford University”>Page Not Found : Stanford University) has it listed as REA. I don’t know if it was listed as SCEA in the past, or if it’s always been REA but just refereed to as SCEA…doesn’t make much difference, though</p>
<p>Hmm, interesting. Or maybe it could be that it was officially called REA this whole time, but people wanted to make it similar to Yale, which officially calls it SCEA. </p>
