<p>and as for competition, does it matter? it’s all decided at this point anyway haha. Competition now [or anytime after senior year] isn’t going to change anything but bring out the fata$$ ego outta people. Not helpful! And we compete more based on our region than anywhere else, so I don’t bite.</p>

<p>It’s funny- I look at those STUPID “chance me” threads of people also applying to Stanford and I get SO envious and competitive… It’s even kind of the same with the three kids from my school applying to Stanford RD- they’re not even in my applicant pool and I find myself wishing I’m the one chosen out of us to go to Stanford. Yet when I talk to you guys, my REAL competition, I don’t find myself getting competitive or envious in the slightest. I really do want the best for you guys!</p>

<p>I think the only person applying (at least REA) to Stanford from my school is one of my friends, who has probably never gotten below an A- on a report card, is a really good singer, an amazing actor and dancer, a decent soccer goalie and is pretty funny. YEAH I GOT GOOD CHANCES that boy is close to perfection.</p>
