soz didnt know. but now i know. ><

^I guess it’s not your fault. It’s just that a ridiculous number of posters have stopped by this thread to ask the same question, which has not only been answered numerous times, but also now has it’s own dedicated thread. Oh well…

Oh my god, I hate that question.

But I can appreciate post #4521. :p

Now to read that article…

Oh, that series.

How do they pick people for that, anyway?

Or not, nevermind. All from the same high school? What? I’m pretty sure that’s not what they did last year. Seems like a bad decision to me- considering the differences going to different schools can produce, having everyone from the same one is handicapping how interesting the articles are.

EDIT: I definitely didn’t mean to post 3 times in a row. Sorry.

^I agree. I think all the NYT bloggers were from different high schools last year.

(Btw “knave” is in Prisoner of Azkaban on pg100 in the hardback American version. Some dude in a painting yells at Harry, Ron, and Hermione saying “Draw, you knaves, you dogs!”)

@heinzketchup: SIR CADOGAN. Props to him! 8DDD

@Harambee: I think it’s not just that- they were from different parts of the country, if I remember correctly.

The other thing is, if you look at the comments on the intro page for the series, the school is the most prestigious high school in the most wealthy suburb of Denver. Pretty big fail if you ask me- I’d rather hear about people in less-advantaged places. Big lack of diversity so far, though the international student looks promising- I’m glad they have her.

I go to a pretty privileged public high school, and I can honestly say it isn’t super exciting. There’s about 20 schools that 50% of my grade goes to, so I can’t imagine it being interesting to anyone else…

WHY didn’t they pick kimathi for the international student? He would have been so cool to profile.

@littledot: The international student is actually attending that same high school in CO, whereas kimathi is in Kenya. Whoever chose the seniors just got lazy, picked out one high school, and took all the students from there.

what are you guys talking about? not much has happened whiile I was gone

No one is on right now

Where is everyone?

In other tabs on Google Chrome… not obsessively checking this thread once a minute…

You guys sure are very motivated posters. Hello again Brain Twin :)

just messing around, I’m a little bit bored and I was seeing if there was anyone there

Good eeeeeeeevening, Brain Twin :D
