even the people not accepted will work on that,

@ipixel, this thread is not completely useless

@ipixel, this thread is not completely useless

This is a bonding/info thread, welcome to stanford REAers, HAMBA HARAMBEE KNAVES

@Swirley- I dunno about that. I think it depends on how much the rejection hurts each person.

Also, last year, I think some catfights broke out right after decisions came out. Rejections are bad for the ego and temper, after all. If that happens again, we can expect another drop in contribution.

A 300 page thread in which about 250 pages do not refer to the OP is useless.

Doesnt mean its useless in a bad way, could still be entertaining, im jsut saying as far as “REA Discussion” goes, the horse is dead, and has been beaten :).

Call me Mark xD

Somehow I’m getting the feeling that we won’t have nearly as many catfights as the 2014 REA’ers. In fact, we probably won’t have any catfights at all because that’s just how awesome we are. :)

Paraphrasing the almighty Barney Stinson, “the laws of rea stopped, and the laws of awesome tripled”

Ah, but note that the use of the word “discussion” can refer to almost anything; hence, the seemingly random (yet entertaining) nature of this thread!

Why do y’all post so much when I’m gone… Cliffs on the last 10 pages would be appreciated :D

@Mark: First off, I’m pretty sure Sarba has been referenced in more than 50 pages.

Second, this isn’t a thread that’s supposed to refer to the OP, unless they’re an active contributor. It’s to have a bit of fun, provide emotional support for SBS, and some other things that don’t actively spring to my fingers. Sarba’s pretty epic, but if the point of an REA discussion thread was one poster, well, FAIL.

Third, I think you’re misreading the thread name. This isn’t a thread to discuss REA, and never has been. It’s for discussion by applicants to REA. About whatever the hell we feel like. If we want to talk about pie flavors, we will talk about pie flavors. If we want to talk about Black Friday shopping, we will talk about Black Friday shopping. If we want to talk about haberdashery… well, then.

@BigKev: sadly, Sarba’s put a hold on that summary until the post wars are over… tough luck. :)

Now that you’ve mentioned pie, i am quite hungry :)

meowoowowowww

To elaborate on wulfran’s fine point, us Stanford REA’ers are a very sophisticated and diverse group. We have many wide and varying interests of which we would enjoy the pleasure of discussing with each other. Most commonly, we all share a common knack for licentiousness and debauchery. Thus, we wish to discusss it amongst our peers, and we will do so in this thread.

SKYPE. TONIGHT. TIME?

caps lock ftw

is it just me, or did anyone else come home from school and look through the mail/email really carefully even though it’s just the eighth?

uhhh let’s say 9pm eastern! i have an online test due at midnight

make sure you’re on after midnight eastern. i think that’s when sarba can get on.

Hey guys, guess what? In just seven minutes…

LESS THAN TWO DAYS!!!

Hey guys, just an FYI that Courtney is retiring her presence from CC. The stress from her presence here is just removing from her well being at the moment and she doesn’t need the extra stress and anxiety. Continue to think about her, i’ll be posting her admission decision for her.

I skype with Courtney every evening… I think i know her the best out of everyone… Perhaps not Emma.
