<p>Hello everyone ! Sorry to just barge in… I just found this thread today and actually made an account so that i could post haha. I applied REA to Stanford as well, and am very nervous yet hopeful for the reply come December.</p>
<p>jdlace/mytuesdaysmile: It’s 20 days until the official date (December 15th) that Stanford says they will reply back to REA applicants by. It’s my understanding though that in recent years, Stanford has always given its reply a few days earlier than this date… I’m just gonna go by the December 15th date and be surprised by an early email with the decision haha</p>
<p>I know it probably doesn’t mean anything, but I’m hoping for any little thing. LOL.</p>
<p>Last year they announced that they would do it on the 10th a few days early so we won’t be surprised, they’re gonna tell us the exact date before they send it</p>
<p>@jdlace You don’t need school forms for UC. They don’t want a transcript or rec letters. They just want your score reports. Sorry if I misunderstood what you meant by school forms!</p>
<p>And I’m not “sure” exactly. It’s just that has been the general pattern. 
I would be a little surprised if it didn’t come that day, but that was never a set thing anyway.</p>

<p>Yeah, I know. It’s weird, but they want transcripts after you are admitted for the fall term. :/</p>
<p>I’m not sure about the score reports though. Sorry. ): Oh! Also, you only have to send score reports to one of the UC campuses you’re applying to.</p>

<p>I’m applying to a couple UCs as well. It’s kind of shocking no recommendations or anything from your school until you’re admitted, and then only a transcript. It’s all self-reporting. I could say I cured the common cold… </p>

<p>@stanfordcs, how do you have time for schoolwork? I have to admit that when I got the book, I freaked out too… hoping for some reason they were sending me an acceptance letter a month early!</p>

<p>Sending that book to people who have applied REA is just CRUEL lol. It’s nice to look at, but it only makes the waiting worse 
I wish the day would come already!</p>
<p>With watching all the Stanford videos, memorizing the map and faculty, etc… It just seems like you have no time left to study!</p>
