Bunch of REA at my school, but only one (legacy) better than me, IMHO. But one is enough. So I should just post “rejected” now. And how I will be in such agony at Pomona or Scripps. [sarcasm]

You guys should check out Spotify for free music (it’s legal). You just have to have a Facebook account. If you set it to “private session,” it won’t post the songs you’re listening to on Facebook. It’s like ten free songs for a minute of commercials.

Dexter: yes. NBA; no
College ball: yes.
Daughtry? Kaskade, Diplo!!!: yesh

on another note, scanned a thread somewhere else around here from some highfalutin LA high school and am now more sure than ever I should have retaken the damn sat. I’m not getting in, unless there’s divine intervention. I KNOW I say it’s not all about the numbers, but…i am the 99% I fear.

@Newtocollege, it’s from a few pages ago, but I’m also applying to Tufts. You know that the first three essays are the only ones you have to do. The other six are all optional- and they mean optional.

Wherever I go I’m going to major in biology.

@DreamOnForever: meh I didn’t bother to read every page I missed. maybe I’ll do that this weekend if I can’t find anything better to do…
What do you mean “this year” you’re taking those subjects? IBDP’s two years…
Yeah they made that rule like 2 years ago and my school’s so strict with all the IBO rules there’s no way to get around it:P lol that’s like half… there were 3 kids from our school two years ago with 45 points, but 2 of them paid extra to get their grades moderated and last year the highest result was 44. I can’t imagine how someone can get 42+ on IB. scared for my predicted grades…

@Rush10: Stanford gives you credit for Higher Level courses with 6 above final grades. full semester credits, i think. But not in English or the humanities, only the sciences for some reason… and of course ironically the hardest subject in the whole thing doesn’t count for ****.
I think most of it’s self satisfaction, after two years of slaving away with the same teacher and same people in class you get affectionate about some stuff. Like I won’t throw away my extended essay ever lol
haha I hate Death Cab for Cutie

@txnwithadream: love your list

@Newtocolloege: I don’t like Tuft’s supplement. they try to be so damn quirky with everything it gets old. whatre we supposed to with that Your Space thing anyway? (or was that Vassar)

From AP alone, I’ll have 17 credits. I doubt they’ll accept my CC credits (even MVC). None of the APs I’m taking this year will give me credit, so idk if I will take AP tests.

yeah, that’s rough about them not accepting most CC credits. How rigorous/proof-based is your course? Maybe you could take some kind of placement exam to prove that your course should earn you credits.

@Rush10
The EA results are posted within the crazy giant scary Official Stanford SCEA Class of 2016 thread. You’ve got to get to about the last 20-40 pages or so, then you’ll see people posting results.
Just to warn you, it’s not exactly uplifting:(
