<p>@texaspg, it really doesn’t work like that at top colleges. You may think the student has no shot, but they still somehow end up admitted.</p>
<p>For example, I saw a student with a 3.1 and 24 ACT admitted. I thought there was a better chance of the world coming to an end, than this student being admitted to Stanford.</p>
<p>^ That’s the thing about top colleges :D</p>
<p>They promise a “holistic review,” but I’m sure they can get by with just skimming some applications (as sad as that might sound :().</p>

<p>It was challenging, but that was what I was expecting… Hopefully the curve is VERY VERY generous (like more than ever before :D)</p>

<p>I loved WORLD HISTORY!!! I got a perfect on the AP test and SAT II.</p>
<p>Do they still give you an hour and 95 questions, right?</p>
<p>When I took it I had questions on topics such as: Mesoamerica, Social Darwinism, Mayans, Herbert Spencer, Confucius, Picasso’s paintings, and the Great Leap Forward.</p>
<p>I think the curve was pretty good. I felt like I bombed it haha</p>
<p>I’m supposed to be tutoring once a week, but there’s some weird issues going on. The girl’s step-mom hired me, and it sounds like her mom doesn’t want to pay her portion (she goes back and forth every week).</p>
