So I was inspired to create an account here (I also applied SCEA :)) when Imagine Dragons and Last Dinosaurs were mentioned. I’ve never even met anyone else who KNOWS of Last Dinosaurs, much less likes them… and I LOVE Imagine Dragons. Then Tegan & Sara and M83 were mentioned. REALLY??? I NEED to listen to more of M83’s stuff, as I’ve only heard a couple of their songs. I also like Mumford & Sons, Of Monsters & Men, the xx, etc. My friend really likes Broken Bells, too-- I should check them out soon.

BUT THEN.

SOMEONE MENTIONED LUDOVICO EINAUDI

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD

HIS MUSIC <333

I LOVE YOU GUYS OH MY GOD

I am absolutely blown away and astounded. You are all absolutely wonderful and amazing. (btw, i’ve been stalking this thread for a while. heh. :P)

P.S. Whoever mentioned soundsupp.ly… WOW. Love. I am so glad to have discovered this. Really enjoying The Lighthouse and the Whaler’s “Pioneers” right now while typing this. Thank you!

@botmeister I’m in IB! We just turned in our EE’s this last week, so relieving haha. How are all the acronyms going for you? (IA’s, EE, TOK essay, etc?)

It’s more of a library of music than anything else. Makes it easier to search for a specific song or artist, instead of having to type into the search box every time!

lol so the only Norwegian band that I currently know is A-ha. Love them, though. I definitely need to explore European music more. Right now I’ve been listening mostly to music from the US, Canada, and the UK.

I love Kings of Convenience <3
Also: The National, Jack Johnson (You and Your Heart), Keane, THE KILLERS(!), Sting, Freelance Whales, and Calexico. :)
