Official Stanford SCEA 2017 Applicants' Discussion Thread

@jkIVYleague: can you please tell your friends parents to please please admit me?

LOL @Holocene.

oh wait. “we females”.
I’ve been calling you and nor “dude” this whole time.
I’m so sorry.

@bleach340 LOL dude I don’t if I can even say that to them ;P

Sean, no worries. I use call my friends dude quite a bit too. I don’t think dude is limited to the male gender.

To this I say:

I am seriously bothered that females cannot fully appreciate and make use of the chillness of “dude” or “bro.” It’s not like we can say “sis.” and don’t even get me started about “dudette.”

hahahaha awesome. I usually call girls “dude” in real life anyway, I’m just never sure of how people react to it. Some girls have responded like “ummm I’m a chick,” and I never want to offend anyone.
But yes. “Dude” and “bro” and mega-chill, and I appreciate your…uh, appreciation of them. So. Yeah. Anyway, Brotato chip, Brotein shake–I’m actually going to bed this time. Good night. Sleep well.

You guys are crazy cute. Good luck today! Especially you Holo, lover.

Night Sean! When is the optimal time for me to check the Stanford page? I only want to check it once. I’m thinking 3am, that’s 6am on the East Coast, and I’m sure some people check it right when they wake up at 6am.

Holocene, you rock, dude.

Get outta here, you Yale applicant.
