It is up!
Chars

Yeah, in light of the current news…If my biggest problem today is getting rejected from Stanford, then I’m really lucky…
My heart goes out to those children/staff and their families
:(

This is so intense, I wish I was at home!!

Less than an hour!

@hollabackgurl
That quote just makes me unbearably sad. I pray for those little souls…

Where is everyone?1?!

ah we will all be alright. just believe in yourself no matter what happens.

Nothing in life is so exhilarating as to be shot at without result.

30 minutes…

well, got accepted to michigan today so if I get rejected, it won’t suck THAT much.

I’m ready to bawl my eyes out. Sooooo ready.

Thread is unexpectedly dormant…

In ap Econ last period!!! ARGHHH

It’s because everyone is watching the news in light of the recent news story… suddenly getting in doesn’t seem so important anymore.

Looks like its you and me danieljvdm…
Have you prepared your rejection materials? I.e. tissues and razor blades

Jk about the razor blades…

Oh god this is actually happening

Here’s something that will make you laugh for a bit while waiting these last few minutes:
[Stanford University - Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia](http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Stanford_University)

Good luck to everyone, and in the end, we’ll all end up at great schools.

WE’RE IN THIS TOGETHER. I am ready to send the saddest snapchats of my life.

@pitabread I know you’re joking, but just think about how silly it is to take your life over something so trivial which honestly won’t matter in a few years, and think about those poor children who would have given anything just to breathe for another day.

That being said, none of us should take the decisions too harshly. We have SO many more colleges left to hear from, and I’m certain that in light of our accomplishments that led us to want to apply to Stanford, we’ll all end up at wonderful colleges regardless. One simple decision is hardly the end of the world. We all have bright futures no matter where we go.

If you’re accepted, congratulations, you 101% deserve it. If you’re deferred/rejected, just hold your head up and move on to the next thing. We’re all wonderful people who will accomplish great things in life.
