Arggggghhhh.

Yesterday would have been perfect :(

Also, why hasn’t anyone considered Monday as a possibility?

Because Stanford usually releases before the weekend to avoid angry callers

usually

I never understand people calling in after being rejected. What do they expect to happen?

“Oh you’re mad? Okay, I’ll let you/your child in immediately. Have a nice day!”

OMG I love Far Cry 3. It’s such a good game.

LOL @holocene
I mean other colleges release on weekdays and I’m sure they get angry parents too so if they can deal with it, so can you stanford

“Sat 12/8: 0.5%
Sun 12/9: 0.25%
Mon 12/10: 1%
Tue 12/11: 3%
Wed 12/12: 1%
Thurs 12/13: 2%
Fri 12/14: 90%
Sat 12/15: 2%
Post-12/15: 0.25%”

You’re giving Saturday a probability twice as high as Wednesday? Very inaccurate. Due to the Legacy Letters we know that, so long as some natural disaster or some other unpredictable event occurs, that results will be released on Friday or earlier. Thus, Saturday should have an even lower probability then Post-12/15, as in the scenario such an event does occur, it is more likely results will be postponed longer then a single day. So if we move down saturday to 0.1% chance, we can increase accuracy by distributing the 1.9% to the other days. Also, as the date gets closer I would think the probability of release would follow and exponential curve. I do not know the rate, but the chance of Monday should be lower than Tuesday, Tuesday lower than Wednesday, and so on, until Friday which would be the peak, with then a rapid drop and trail off. Saturday or Sunday isn’t happening, so let me propose:

Mon 12/10: 1.50%
Tue 12/11: 2.00%
Wed 12/12: 2.70%
Thurs 12/13: 3.60%
Fri 12/14: 89.85%
Sat 12/15: 0.10%
Post-12/15: 0.25%

Jolly good. Good day.

lol, one of my friends at stanford told me to check my email 3:00 on friday the 14th… he told me to just trust him

Chances of me going insane if I think about this one more time especially while trying to get started on my 9 other apps tomorrow: 100%

^I love you haginrainbow.

One thing though, didn’t someone say that they had some insider info pointing towards Tuesday? Personally, the one alum I know (and her mother) seem to be dead set on the 14th. I don’t think they asked anyone though, so I don’t know why they are so certain. Maybe their Stanford-senses are tingling? What is with all of these Stanford people acting like they know something.

All I know is, my horoscope makes me wish they released them today.
“Watch the emails that come in to you today – one of them has a great opportunity hidden inside.”

amy: 8 other apps. untouched. need to finish in a week since I’m leaving the country.
:’((

Someone told me they were certain no later than Tuesday, but honestly, NOTHING is certain except that we will know some sort of information by the 14th.

I’ve never been so neurotic about anything in my life. What have you done to me Stanford?

Hmmm…
I don’t get it. I thought Stanford really liked the Columbia-Stanford sequence.

Oh joy, my favorite online game just blocked me. I guess it’s a message from God telling me to start working on other applications since I might not get into Stanford…

And idk why there are so many trolls here. seriously.

There’s a ■■■■■ in the dungeon!

Can the mighty CC guild take it down?
