[] Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: I’m pretty well-rounded, but I don’t really have anything that sets me apart.
[] Where else have you been accepted/deferred/rejected: Accepted at Georgetown SFS (EA), UChicago (EA), USC (Presidential Scholarship), UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD (Regents), UCD (Regents). Waitlisted at Princeton, Harvard, Stanford, and Duke. Rejected at Yale and Columbia.
[li] What would you have done differently?: I think I gave it my best shot. No regrets, right?[/ul][/li]Other Factors:
General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations, etc: It’s so weird to finally be a second semester senior and into college… AHH! But anyways, I was blown away to even be waitlisted by Stanford. The rest of the people from my school who got in are all super math/science geniuses. Hopefully there’s room for a prospective history major? But anyways, super big congratulations to all the amazing people who got in! And to those who didn’t, it’ll all work out in the end.
Briefly explain why you applied to Stanford (This may very roughly show who really had an interest and if there is some correlation with acceptance): Strong political science and history departments, beautiful campus, and great school spirit.
