Does anyone know when Northwestern HPME results will come out this year or when they were released last year? Or did the day vary from person to person?
have not heard back on AMC either…thinking we’re still in the running
Usually the HPME results are released about the same time as NW. Anyone waitlisted by NW is usually rejected from HPME. They waitlist combined program students if they don’t want to waste a spot on them without knowing they still want to come.
My D accepted to VCU.

@runnergirl09 NW HPME released results on 3/21 last year. This year, my S got an email last week that the HPME results will be released by email in the end of March/early April. I hope it is 3/21 again like last year but not sure.

I didn’t get any email from HPME about decisions being released. Did anyone else get a similar email? I wonder if that’s good or bad news…
Check your spam. I don’t think they would give a signal to people by sending that email selectively.

Thanks for the advice but I already checked my spam folder and found nothing there. I also checked the HPME online application but there’s no indication online of when the decisions will be released. Guess I’ll just have to buckle down and wait like everyone else 
@burningred Perhaps you should call HPME and make sure they have your right email address on file. The HPME results when they come out will be released by email - so you should make sure they have the right email address.
does anyone know the details about miami hpme? is it binding? what GPA is required to stay in the program? Is MCAT required? The website does not give much information. Thanks.

@GoodDoctor - I could repeat what we were told last year for Miami HPM and perhaps this year’s interviewees would post an update:
The medical school calculates the average undergraduate (UG) GPA and MCAT for the incoming medical class and the HPM then uses that as the UG GPA and MCAT minimum requirement for the HPM students. Last year’s overall UG GPA minimum required is 3.7, as is the science GPA. The MCAT requirement is 32 (they will publish the new score under the new grading system when they have statistics from incoming classes. The program is binding regarding the reserved seat in medical school; if you want to apply out you’ll need to let them know and you will lose your reserved seat.

Any news from Miami HPM?
From what I heard now, the GPA is still 3.7 and the new mcat score has gotten raised a little higher (equivalent to a 33 on the old mcat). they have already made the score conversion for the new one, but I don’t know the exact number. I know this because my brother is in Umiamis MSP program. I feel like we still have about two weeks for HPMs results to be released.
