My son called PSU yesterday, and he was told that they are still reviewing his application. The person who was on the phone said they will continue to send out more interview notifications. So we still have some more hope.
My sons status also says 'We are reviewing your credentials for the Accelerated Premedical-Medical program. A decision will be available here as soon as one is made.".
@peanut7 I also applied Villanova/Drexel and submitted the supplement, and I haven’t gotten an email for payment yet.

@Veritas13 It is my D who is applying. Her status at Penn State changed today to “We will be notifying Jefferson Medical College of your candidacy, and they will be in contact with you regarding an interview at Jefferson …” I hope this means she gets a formal interview call. Other schools are Pitt GAP, UAB EMSAP, Brown PLME and a few more but not BU.

Also, I’m not sure if this is the case, but for those of you who still haven’t gotten an acceptance to Drexel for regular UG- did you guys apply early action or regular action? All the EA decisions came out on the same day in December, so I would assume that all the regular action decisions will be coming out on the same day probably in like February/March or something. If you got forwarded to the med school though I’m pretty sure you’ve definitely been accepted

@TheShmiShmi : For UAB/EMSAP, based on what is reported in this thread, it APPEARS, invitations are posted in UAB email. Rejections are coming in USPS. Is that correct?

When is the two-day interview date for UAB/EMSAP this month? Which Thursday/Friday?
@parentofs I think it’s safe to say at this point that if you haven’t received an interview request via email you will receive a rejection letter by postage soon. That may be why when I called admissions about EMSAP they told me that decisions would come out in the next few weeks–taking into account time it takes for the letter to reach some west coast states.

@SteyrFWB it will be January 29 (Thursday) and January 30th (Friday)
UAB EMSAP: As far as I understand, interview invitations were sent to the UAB email, but snail mail invites are on the way. Though the interview invitations say the deadline to respond was yesterday at 5 pm, that is a somewhat flexible deadline and you should still respond if you haven’t yet. Rejections will come via snail mail only.
Has anyone heard anything from BU SMED or Siena yet?

@tdkeerthi I believe both penn state and rpi already started sending out interview invites based on some posts here. But they are sent out in batches and you may need to wait.
