This entire process is so strange and random and unpredictable.
@bsmdcan I applied to NEOMED, but haven’t received any emails about it yet. I’m OOS though and I heard last year they only accepted 3 OOS kids.

@chasingmymd1 Thank you. Yes it is so unpredictable and the wait is frustrating.
@texaspg Could you post the links to the threads you have mentioned for 2015?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/multiple-degree-programs/
The threads are in this forum. You should be able to see 2015 interview thread as well as all three threads for 2014.
@bsmdcan No he is not out of the running for NEOMED yet. It is not uncommon to received undergrad admission to any of the three consortium schools (Kent, Akron, YSU) prior to receiving interview notification. Interview notification will be sent out via snail mail in early February. You will either receive 3 envelopes/rejections (one from each consortium school) OR a combination of envelopes from NEOMED and any of the three consortium schools granting interviews to one or more of the schools. If you receive an interview for at least one consortium school you will also receive an envelope from NEOMED.
Thank you @lax1997. Congratulations on your achievement at Brown. Good luck.
Also got rejection from villanova interview today. Does anyone know when we will hear from muhlenberg?
@chasingmymd1 Sorry for the rejection. Hopefully more acceptances will come
My D got reject from Rosemont/Drexel today. Waiting on interview email invites from Drexel/Drexel, GWU/GWU, UCONN OOS, Hofstra, UMKC OOS, USA COMEAP OOS? You think no news is bad news by this month end?
and Union/AMC, Monmouth/SGU OOS too
At least do we get reject emails on those? So we don’t need to be in a wait-mode. Thanks.
@thalamus
Thanks, I’m only waiting on a couple more programs but hopefully those will be good news. I’m surprised about Villanova and Lehigh because my cousin who went through this process a couple of years ago said that those were usually considered the “easier” programs to get into.
@bamd2014
Most people have already heard back from GWU–rejections for everyone on this site except for I believe a user or two. So if you haven’t heard back that could be a good thing, as they could still be considering your application for an interview.
@BSMD2014 When did you submit Hofstra supplement? Is there a deadline for that?
Rejected pre-interview from Rutgers BA/MD…
@sm577501
The deadline for the Hofstra supplement is February 1st.
What’s up with Caldwell, haven’t heard anything from them.
So did anyone get an interview for REMS at University of Rochester?
My friend got an interview at REMS.
@collegeplzz
I just got a rejection from Muhlenberg… so the decisions are coming out now
I just interviewed for the Siena/AMC program today… also, does anyone know when the UConn/UConn decisions are coming out!!!
@ViveLaSuisse
It seems like the Drexel programs are getting harder…sorry about the rejection. Uconn said that we would hear back from them before March. On last year’s thread someone compared uconn to a black hole because nobody knows what’s going on over there.
how was your Siena interview? Did they ask many ethic questions or questions about research? I’m surprised your interview wasn’t cancelled,considering the snowstorm going on in NY.
