I am a high school junior new to College Confidential. Most of the direct med programs require Math Level 2 and a Science SAT subject test. Does Boston University require subject SAT in foreign language? Appreciate if anyone who is attending the program/ got interviewed/ invited to an interview can respond.
@HS2DirectMedâ Boston University does require one SAT Subject Test in a foreign language as well as one subject test in math and one in chemistry I think
received denial from case PPSP on jan-30.
@HS2DirectMedâ @tnr527â I was invited to the BU SMED interview this year and I only submitted Chemistry and Math 2. I believe that they made the foreign language subject test recommended instead of required this past year

I was invited for an interview and did not have a foreignlanguage SAT either.
If I was to miss a call from a university regarding an interview such as BUâs SMED, chances are theyâd at least leave a message or email me, right? Been getting really anxious these past few days lol
@chasingmymd1â no I didnât have a foreign language recommendation. I used a history recommendation instead
@numnumsâ , I think that university will definitely leave a message. If you are expecting call on your cell phone, even if they do not leave message you will see missed call, for more surety you can check your cell phone account online and see the call log.

How many applied to HPME / How many were selected for interview / How many were offered admission / How many were enrolled?
This question is to those who have attended Univ. of Alabama EMSAP interview last week. Heard that UAB is having a new kind of interview for 2015 (similar to speed dating with 7 to 10 staff members each interviewing for about 7 minutes). Appreciate if you could share your experience.

@chihuahua1 My son attended the sbu/gw interview also yesterday. He said that the interview with Dr. Thomas was good but the interview with a faculty member was tough and he too did not know how to answer some questions.
@GoodDoctor i agree. I had some petri dish question thing idk wat that was??? lol but yea idk wat they thought of meâŠit was hard to tell! hopefully ur son and i did well! did u guys like the campus?
@chihuahua My son said the campus was too small and in the middle of nowhere. That is a concern
