@NJTDad congratulations on BU interview! so they still continue to call. So we still have hope
I guess I was bit overexcited when I heard we got a call and assumed as I had seen any rejection on the phone (from forums posting here or I may have missed it ) since my D wasnât available to talk they wouldnât tell my wife anything. Now my D would need to call them back on Monday to find out. Keeping our fingers crossed 
morale of the story : donât get overexcited when you get a call :). Weekend wait will seem like a week long to find out whether it is an interview or rejection ?

@KShah16 Nov 11th âŠper my previous post we donât know what was the call for !!! sorry everyone for confusion. We did get first rejection though in the postal mail today from Siena.
@NJTDad It should be interview only since no one is going to take efforts to call so many candidates to inform they are rejected. Wish they leave a message than wants to speak live (may be BU wants to have a personal touch!).
Also on BU, my reading is they are very particular about the current year report. So either student should have submitted the âfirst marking period reportâ or âfirst semester final reportâ. Then only they review the application.
I believe so far whom so ever got BU interview have submitted either one of them.
For my D school, counselor will send only after semester ends which is close to this month end. Then only BU will review her app.
We did send the first marking period last week of december.
@GoldenRock you have a point there but unless you hear directly âŠanyway will find out on Monday.
As previously posted did anyone beside the two i know got interview from AMC? My D sent supplement for both RPI/AMC & UNION/AMC.

Actually, I got my BU interview without submitting mid-year report! It says that itâs missing on the portal and everything, and I still got my call. They are probably aware that many schools end semesters late.
That being said, my hs transcript does include the list of classes that I am taking this year, albeit without grades!!
For the Pitt GAP supplement, does anybody else find it weird that the âWhy Medicineâ essay is limited to 600-700 characters?? That is barely 100-150 words 
@tennisfan23 150 words is typical for HYPS and many other very selective schools. Focus on the core reason/essence of what in the program drives you. Keep it pure and genuine. Be true to yourself and if the school sees a match great and if not move forward with your search⊠Always move forward towards your long term goals.

@lidad98 My D got Union -AMC interview. Rejection from Siena. Didnât apply Rpi.
@tennisfan23 Just reviewed my Dâs app. It is 600-700 words only. It is a typo in their FAQ page. It says 1 page (600-700 characters donât take 1 page). Also the second prompt applicant is 250 words and space given is smaller than the why medicine. So you should plan to write 600-700 words.
@lidad98 The best option for you is to call AMC lady after Thursday when she is back from her travel to find your S/D status.

@lidad98 supplemental received 12/10 responded 12/16 got interview email to pick from 4 dates on 21st.

@tennisfan23 Its 600 characters. my son called upitt medical school twice and they told him that its 600 characters not words.
