@GoldenRock @NJTDad PSU is not known to give any merit scholarships, so it is a bad deal if donât qualify for need based aid and are OOS. Most OOS students who fall in this category will end up having better options unless one is hell bent on going to PSU because they fell in love with it.
Yay I got an interview at UConn OOS. I wonder how many people are interviewed. Does anyone know?

Congratulations guys on UConn interviews. Just called them, update for those who are waiting to hear form UConn. They will send you an email with interview option ONLY if SELECTED. No rejection emails will be sent.
They just started sending them today and will do so for next few days.
Unless I am not looking at the right place, my status still says Your application is currently under review by your academic department. You should receive an admission decision within six weeks.
@ljames6 You looking at this correctly. For whatever the reason be, PSU wants people like you and me to be still guessing. Lets play along 
My PSU account still has not been updated. It still says âyour application is still under review. We have recieved everything and will let you know when a decision has been made.â

One of my friends told me that RPI reviews applications alphabetically based on the last name, if thats true, my last name starts with âTâ and I still can hope for some good newsâŠPlease let me know if anyone with last names T or past T got notifications from RPI yet, thank you.

It appears PSU is updating their site in nightly batches. So some of you will get to know in the next day or so.
@jt4321 It is very unlikely that RPI is processing by names. @goaltobemd had discussed few times with RPI program director and posted few times here that they process on application complete date. It is not the same date you applied though. It is the day from their IT system point of view, every thing was loaded and complete. Good news, RPI and AMC are processing all the way till Feb for UG and interview by AMC till March. So just be patient. GL

uconn strongly prefers OOS applicants for the SPiM, right? Does anyone have the numbers breakdown for applied/interviewed/accepted for In-state vs Out-of-state?

Just wondering anyone has updated information about Drexel/Drexel? Last year Drexel/Drexel announced decisions on Friday, Jan 30th?
@cresent wow, that is very rough! Are they considered differently/separately from IS? like is there a separate interview pool that they will look at for OOS vs IS or will they roughly admit more IS than OOS? Also, do you know how many OOS applicants are granted an interview? Thanks!
