Official thread october sat 2013 test

Also, i put explain misconception instead of undermine a claim

i put impassioned and inconclusive.

what is the transition of the girl when eating the cookies? i couldnt remember the options.
and wat is the question for “stipulation”?

I put misconception at first, but I don’t remember if I changed it or not.

Wasnt the answer for 3x/a 2. Because it asked how many times would the new slope be greater than the old one.

So I took the SAT yesterday and got the prompt "Is too much info about public figures distracts us from main issues ???

i wrote tht people ( in general ) must consider the public opinion and tht public opinion don’t distract us from choosing the write thing ? is wht i wrote relevant to the assignment ??? reply soon plz

No it was 1/2. Say a=5 The orignal slope would be 3/5, the new slope whould be 3/10. 3/10 is half of 3/5.

stipulation was the correct answer on the cookie girl passage

cookie girl was experimental

Never Minbd

Why would you delete 3 in the fixing paragraphs? I considered it, but it sorta fit in the second paragraph because it both discussed scientists studying life on other planets and it was still relevant to the essay. How many people said it should just be deleted? Also, if I missed 1 and wrote a 10 essay could I get an 800? What if I wrote a 12?

I agree with you.

@ragingrag
What was the question with stipulation?

@nick

It was out-of-context with the paragraph. Even if placed at the beginning of the passage the information would have been irrelevant. I personally said delete it.

@ superstar

Something about why did mrs. Flowers say that the little girl had to read the books out loud if she gave them to her. It was a stipulation.

@sqtEllie
Awesome. I got that

Is the parallelogram question in math 1/3 or 1/4

No SGTELITE it was something else but not a stipulation

but what are the options other than stipulation cuz i dont remember

Decent test.

So far I am at a:
-0 Math
-0 English
-0~1 CR
:D

Does anyone remember the writing “Find the Error” that went something like this:

Colleges that have not fulfilled their teaching of education have not completed their goal or something of the sorts…

Also, what was the CR Experimental?

Thanks! :D

@malipk the general consensus on the forums is stipulation.

None of the other choices made sense though @malipk

@ohmighty

I remember that one and thinking it over as I was answering the other questions. I think it improperly used “when” and that was the error.
