megan702 what proabability problem? can u describe it?

i think the cr curve will be harsh. the jan 2013 curve was -1-790 and i felt like this test was very similar in difficulty to the jan 2013 one.

GUYS. Let’s establish a rating system for how hard we think each sections difficulty was.

Math
Easy:
Average: 1
Hard:

CR
Easy:
Average:
Hard: 1

Writing
Easy:
Average: 1
Hard:

Vote yourself just by adding 1 to the count for each category. Hopefully we can see what we thought and maybe have a vague prediction of the curve? GO VOTE!

Aetherskly - i dont know honestly cuz alot of people were debating about 2 answer choices for several questions on CR

like the probability to use one type of worker was 1/26 and the probability to choose another kind was 1/33 (i can’t remember exact numbers) But what was the probability of choosing neither if we assume none of them were both?

1- (1/26) - (1/33) to get the prob for choosing neither worker

math-average
writing-average
reading-hard

I don’t remember the exact answer, but you took the total number of workers and multiplied by (1/26) and then added that to the total number of workers multiplied by (1/33). Then you subtracted that sum from the total number of workers.

EDIT:

math – normal (made stupid mistakes that I’ll regret when sending my scores in) – expecting 640 (worst case scenario)
reading – easy – expecting 730 (worst case scenario)
writing – easy – expecting 720 (worst case scenario)

Using the average of previous SAT curves, I’ll probably be around a 2150.

I think it was 126 but I don’t really remember. I know I got that one right though.

that’s what i did. did you get 162??? pleaseee i already got like 2 wrong! ahhh i wanna cancel.

math-average

cr-easy

yea it was 162

Was the answer derisive?? i put openly differential
it’s almost the same i think

i put derisive @productrule

I really hope so @Tidumattud!

i put derisive. pretty sure it was mocking

@megan

The answer was 162. It was 34/34 -6/34 -1/34 which is 27/34 then you set up an equality and solve for 27/34 = x/208 which gives you 162. Those aren’t the exact numbers but they are damn close. The answer was definitely 162.

Um no they said the diameter of the smaller circle was 6, so its radius is 3. They also said that the radius of the bigger circle was 5 more than that of the smaller circle, so therefore 64/9.

kaushikdr, are people really still talking about that question?

I put openly defential because the Luddites were very radical as shown by the subscript.

ya general consensus of 64/9
