Official thread october sat 2013 test

i had a writing experimental fyi so i know all the real sections because i know which writing was experimental as well. Um for the sousa one is it indignent?

Anybody else get A LOT of C’s for the 35 writing section for the improving sentences (like i got 3 cs in a row then a break then another 3 C’s?) (i think it’s 1-11? or 14? forget)
AND LIKE NO A’s or E’s i think

was the answer make a prediction or advance a hypothesis for the music passage?

i think i said make a prediction

So what is the consensus on the music passage tone question?

somewhat derisive or scholarly neutral?

can someone please pm the google doc?? please <3

Hi, I did my SAT yesterday and i had four sections of math, so i know one of them is the experimental and I know it is a section with 20 questions, not a grid in. One of the 20 question sections had a question about a sequence in which the number before was 2x -5 o something like that, I am almost completely sure that is the true section and not the experimental since a friend that was in the same class as I was had an experimental of critical reading and did have this question on one of her math sections, and while we where on the test she saw the section I think I thought it was the experimental and told me she never did that math section. Does every one do the same exact test in the same class and test center? I know the experimentals might change and the tests are ordered differently, but after all everyone has the same 9 sections right?

@Hustonrep
I put scholarly neutral, but consensus seems to be somewhat derisive.
That said, I’m pretty sure it’s neutral…

Oy you wags. PM me the google docs, please.

please reply

@samuelkim0814
It’s derisive. No contest.

Which section of writing was experimental?

@gt everyone has the same 9 sections

experimentals may be different

PLEASE ANSWER
On the question in which everyone is saying the answer is 64/9, is it okay to put 7.11???
PLEASE ANSWER

“in praise of” … was that a mistake?

Hi, I did my INTERNATIONAL SAT yesterday and i had four sections of math, so i know one of them is the experimental and I know it is a section with 20 questions, not a grid in.
It’s neutral, no contest. The author wasn’t partial to either side of the debate.

I almost put neutral but there is no clear evidence. Derisive was harsh but was most similar to sentence.
@kaushikdr I did not get even one d or e on section 10. I also thought #13 on section 10 was “when compared with” since “as compared with” sounds wrong

I thought it was derisive…he called them Luddites!

@gtst we are US students. Presumably the intl. test is slightly different in regards to the specificity of questions, obviously ideas are the same. No offense but I don’t think anybody on here gives half a **** about the intl. test from yesterday.

I think this is officially the longest SAT thread/forum on this site.
