Dont know how to explain it more. You got 2 points which are (-4,0) and (0,3) then you use the x and y axis for the sides of a triangle and connect the dots. If you do a normal Pythagorean theorem even with negative x value you get 5 for the hypotenuse but the fact that the x value is negative is what kills me. I decided to put 4 in the end because I dont remember encountring a question like that in my practice tests.</p>
<p>Homely in the sense that it was used inferred, hell it downright meant, simple. Gotta be careful about literal interpretations of words, sometimes CB uses the literal definition but it’s not often.</p>
<p>In regards to the Sousa passage (just for the record, I understand his point of view but what a *****y Luddite), immediate didn’t mean near, right? I forgot what I marked but near just didn’t get it done.</p>
<p>@jeffisaboss the question tells you the radius of the smaller circle is 5 and point x was the center of the larger circle. there is no way that was 64/9 lol</p>
