So if someone doesn’t receive anything by today would it most likely mean we’re rejected?
@mochacoffee I kinda already assume I was already rejected but some whom even tagged haven’t heard back so I honestly don’t even know. but If what was said that the last batch today is true I’d its likely.

although the deadline is June 1st, the longer you wait, the more expensive housing you’ll get. Even though 1 year on-campus housing is guaranteed, you’re not guaranteed to get the specific housing option you want.
@shooguu Hey I’m looking into housing options but I’m a bit confused. Did you apply for arroyo vista housing (since I think that one is more targeted for transfers)? Do you indicate that when you submit the housing app or is it just 1 general app that’s submitted first?
What other housing options are there that you know of? I’ve seen a bit of info on Vista del Campo, Camino del Sol, and Puerta del Sol… I’m kind of confused on them though. Does UCI have an affiliation with these apartments but they are not considered part of the “on campus” housing, simply apartments UCI works with?
Im kind of lost. I appreciate any help!

For the housing application as a new transfer student, you rank the 6 on-campus housing from 1-6, 1 being the housing option you want to the most. I chose arroyo vista since they have a “themed housing,” and one of the theme is transfer students. The thing is, even though you’re guaranteed an on-campus housing, you’re not guaranteed to get the housing option you want. You might end up getting the most expensive on-campus housing option, so what I did was I sent another application out individually. https://www.americancampus.com/student-apartments/ca/irvine/puerta-del-sol/application
Basically this is kind of like a backup in case I they give me an expensive housing option.
For those wondering ignore anyone has been rejected, my friend was reject for Mech E last week so honestly it might not be hard to say how they are releasing the admissions info for ppl 
@DarthRadec09 what apartment is that called? is it part of the UC Irvine on campus housing or is it considered off campus? ive been searching for places next to campus but all the ones i see are like a mile away
